Boss: Wraith 50% Complete

Geek jumped over a large energy blast that Wraith fired at him. Moss rolled under Geek and propelled him into the air, and Geek fired off a round of Aura Spheres to distract Wraith. Moss ran in, creating a huge Leaf Blade and slashed Wraith right across the chest. Wraith shrieked in pain. His body hadn't fully formed, so he was weaker and easier to battle. Geek and Moss would have to take advantage of this moment and defeat Wraith now. Then, everything would return to normal. Then, Volt would be back.

Wraith generated a huge bubble around him and flew right at Moss. Geek recognized the bubble as soon as it was generated. It was meant to drain any Pokemon in it and give that energy to Wraith. Since Moss didn't have a scarf...

"Moss!" Geek shouted as he dove forward and tackled him out of the way.

Wraith missed, but turned around and fired the massive bubble at the two. Geek picked Moss up and untied Volt's scarf. He held it out to Moss.

"Put it on!" Geek commanded.

Moss reached out and grabbed it, then tied it around his neck. The bubble surrounded them, and their energy left them, creating those familiar orbs in front of them. Geek fell to one knee, but held on with all of his might. He reached out and grabbed the energy orb just before it got out of reach. Then, he slammed it into the scarf. The scarf reacted instantaneously and sent the burst of energy all through Geek's body. Moss copied Geek's actions and got up too. Wraith made a nasty snarl sounding noise.

"You just don't understand do you? I've already won, so why even struggle?"

"Because," Geek said, looking at Moss smiling, "as long as we're still standing there's hope. Something you can't take away that easily Wraith."

"So as long as we're still fighting," Moss said, "we have still won!"

Wraith barreled forward with a huge Shadow Ball charging up. Geek dashed forward, his steps long and drawn out. He began charging up his Aura Sphere ability. Everything slowed down. Time seemed to stop. Everything flooded his mind at once. Volt. Tsunami. Marowak announcing his discovery. Wave. Dist. Moss. Him being a human. Wraith. Kyogre. The Eclipser. It all came in at once, then left as Geek refocused on his attack.

Geek and Wraith came within inches of each other, then thrusted their separate attacks. They combined, then exploded. Wraith flew back but recovered, smirking as he looked into the huge smoke cloud that had been formed by the collision. Suddenly, a bright purple light began shining inside it.

"FIRE!" Moss shouted as he pointed his green hand through the smoke.

"Wait what..." Wraith muttered.

The smoke cleared just enough for Wraith to see what Moss was talking about. Geek stood with a grin on his face. His chest was puffed out, and a bright purple light glowed in him.

"Well crap..." Wraith said as Geek fired a fully charged Dragon Pulse.

There was a cry of pain, then silence as the Pulse attack worn down. Finally, there was nothing. All that remained was the destroyed ruins of the City Hall, Geek, and Moss. It was empty, silent, and once again, eerie. Geek bent down and put his paws on his knees. He was exhausted now. Was it just him, or was he getting more worn down faster than usual? No, it was all just in his mind. Geek pushed it away. Moss was jumping around happily.

"We did it! We finally did it!" He kept shouting.

"Don't be so sure..." Geek said as he stood up straight.

"We defeated Wraith," Moss stated, pointing to where Wraith had once been.

"So did me and Volt. But he came back didn't he?" Geek mentioned.

"So... we need to head back and check the city?" Moss asked.

"Exactly," Geek replied as they dashed out of the ruins, heading down the streets.

Behind them, in the rubble where they had just been standing, a small, almost unseeable spark flew and hit the ground. The spark was, however, black and red, and it hit the ground with a low hissing sound. Then, it began to morph and grow into a body. It regrew into Wraith's 50% form, which then smiled evilly as his plan continued to work perfectly.
