Things were shaping up to be pretty good. The journey so far was pretty easy, although Geek was concerned. They had run into several Shadow Pokemon on the way down, along with some random mind controlled Pokemon, meaning that whatever was down here was important. Geek said down because the Outskirts was actually a huge cave system leading down to one single ruin in the middle of the Tipu Tupi lands. It was a huge labyrinth of twists and turns all leading to either a dead end, or the next floor down. It was crazy, and very hard to map out. Geek led the group with Moss behind him, Auroras sat behind Moss, and Drew took up the rear of the group.
As they passed along different areas, Geek began to notice how dark it had gotten. From when they entered, it had gotten much darker, and more darker than a normal cave should be. Things had been ok, but they changed really quick, just as Geek had predicted. More Shadow Pokemon were appearing, and more controlled Pokemon were trying to stop them. Whatever was down here, Wraith didn't want them finding out about it, but that only fueled Geek to progress. It fueled all of them to progress. There were no rests, there were no breaks, there was only exploring and battling.
At one point, a Shadow Pokemon had latched on to Drew, but somehow he had broken free. Moss had slashed the thing with an energized Leaf Blade. The only reason that worked however, was because of the scarf. After that, Geek decided that Moss should take the rear and Drew would take Moss' place. The whole rest of the way was easy going. As they reached the last floor, they encountered no Shadow Pokemon, and they didn't find any controlled Pokemon, mostly because they had rooted out every last orb they could find here. Finally, they got to the final room. The ruins of Tipu Tupi.
It was a large room, much like the ruins within Taku Taku Mountain. Geek pushed the similarities away. Anything relating to what happened the past few days pained Geek, and he would rather not think about it. Drew and Moss unpacked their stuff and began handing out food to everyone. There was no Ruin watcher like the Pidgeotto, but there were ladders in several places that they could use. Geek and Auroras ate while Drew and Moss, already having eaten, read the walls aloud to them. Moss went first.
"These ruins are a reminder to all of those who seek guidance. Deep within the Yotu Tayo Woods there is a ruin of immense knowledge," Moss read.
"Skip ahead," Geek said, mouth full.
Moss looked at Geek, then skipped ahead a ways, "Hidden away not far from the ruins, near the Deathly Sands of No Return, there is a large structure built by the Legendary Pokemon to house them in times of great anguish, trouble, and strife. If any normal is able to reach such a place, The Legends Cove, they may gain the guidance of the Legendary Pokemon, and gain the power of them. In times of great need, the Legendary Pokemon will choose a few to bring to battle against their enemy. Find this land, and you may be the ones chosen for combat against The Eclipser."
Geek stopped eating at that last sentence. That name again. The Eclipser. Kyogre flashed in Geek's mind again. Auroras felt Geek's unease.
"What is it?" Auroras asked.
"Before we came here, me and my whole team of friends," Geek said, "we ran across Kyogre, the Legendary Ocean Pokemon, battling that Eclipser Pokemon. He saved us, and gave us a warning to pass to the other Legendary Pokemon. The Eclipser has returned, or something like that."
"Then it would seem that's where we need to head next," Auroras suggested.
"Guys, there's some more stuff over here," Drew cut in.
"Go ahead," Geek said as he turned and listened to Drew read his part.
"The Eclipser, powerful is he. His name spawns from his goal, a world hidden behind an eternal Eclipse. If this dark Pokemon is successful, our strife will never end. Light will be a myth among our world, and his reign will rule over all. The very name he has been given strikes fear, but his true name is one of pure horror for those of the ancient ones. The name: Necrozma."
Geek looked at the name on the wall. Necrozma. That was his real name. So, was this Necrozma guy working with Wraith, or did they have entirely separate plans? Who was it that said they didn't know each other, but if they did it would spell certain doom for all of us? Geek couldn't remember. Geek stood up and started packing away his things. He knew where they needed to go next. They would need to carry Kyogre's message to the other Legendary Pokemon. They were going to head to The Legends Cove.
Suddenly, Geek felt a huge headache come on. His paws flew over his head to try and ease the pain in any way, but nothing happened. Then, an image flashed before his eyes.
He was lying on his back, the headache still throbbing heavily. In the distance, he heard a small waterfall crashing against a pond. He lifted himself up, confused as to where he was. He looked around, and saw forest. Then he saw the waterfall and the pond. Thinking that the water would fix his headache, he crawled over to the pond and reached in, taking multiple sips of water. The pain went away slightly, and Geek finally stood up.
"Where am I?" Geek asked himself.
He had no control over his body again.
Was this another memory? Where was he? Why did this feel so, familiar. Again that word. Why had familiar become such a horrific thing in the past few days? Oh right, Wraith's rearise. Geek shifted around and looked for anything normal, but found nothing. Geek finally looked into the water's reflection and saw himself, but his face still showed shock and confusion.
"Am I? Am I, a Pokemon?!" He shouted in confusion.
It was like the floodgates opened up. His head was filled with memories and ideas all at once. Old memories he had once had, but replaced with new questions. Why was he here? Why had he become a Pokemon? What was his and Volt's goal here? It hit Geek like a Rhyperior going full speed. Everything swirled around in an endless storm of thoughts, until finally, Geek focused in on one. Volt and him were on top of the Tower of Legends, tears in their eyes, and Jirachi was there. Then, light surrounded them and words echoed across his mind.
"You chose to stay here Geek, so you had to forget. Now, we need you, to remember."
Then, darkness.
