Geek woke up with a bandage around his head, and a cast covering his arm. Confused, he tried pushing himself up, but pain was all he felt, so he gave up. Suddenly, he heard Drew snoring next to him again. What happened? Trying to get a look around, he realized he was back in the house that they were gotten in Tapu Town. Even more confused now, he tried getting up again. Despite the pain, he managed to set himself up. One leg was wrapped up tightly in bandages, the other looked scared and messed up. Geek began to freak out. What happened to him?

"Morning spaz," Geek heard Moss say from the kitchen room.

"What happened?" Geek asked.

"We were about to leave when you started crying in pain. You started thrashing around and we had to get you calmed down. Well, you can see how that went," Moss explained.

"Wait what? Thrashed around? What caused me to do that?" Geek thought to himself.

"Auroras went to go talk with Tapu Koko to see if there was anything else we should know before heading out to The Legends Cove," Moss said as he took a chunk out of an apple.

"Wait, we're still going?" Geek asked puzzled.

"We are going. You're staying here," Moss said suddenly serious, "I may not be Wave, but you need your rest."

Those words ringed through Geek's mind like a needle. Pain fired off everywhere, but Geek took control. He pushed it away, shook his head, remembered his promise. He tried standing up, but it was no good. He didn't have the strength. Moss got up and helped Geek over to the table. After that, Moss moved the Deposit Box close enough for Geek to access. Auroras came home a few minutes later and told Moss that everything was ready to go. After waking up Drew, who immediately put everyone in a happy mood, the three said goodbye and set out.

Geek played it off until they were gone. Once the door closed, he started his training. He pushed himself off the chair and tried balancing. When he fell and hit his knee, pain shot all through his body. He groveled in pain on the floor until he remembered the words he had heard before he fell asleep. Everything rushed in again. Human. Volt. Wraith. Jirachi. He remembered it all. Every last bit of it. Geek, now fueled with determination to fulfil his promise, pushed himself off the ground. He hoisted himself up and tried balancing again, with the help of the chair.

Geek succeeded. After getting balanced, Geek took off the cast over his arm and started moving it. He practiced his attacks inside, and after hours of training, he finally had mastery over his injured body. It was a start. But if Geek wanted to fulfil his promise, he would need to catch up with Moss and the others. Geek looked at the door, and walked over. His hand reached out to open it, but suddenly he stopped.

"Go get'm Geek," he heard a voice say.

Volt.

Smiling, Geek opened the door, stepped out, and closed it behind him.

Limping down the streets, Geek noticed something odd about his hand. The injured one seemed to be, glowing. A very faint, very weak purple glow emanated from his paw. Geek shook it off as an aura related thing. As he pushed himself through the streets, people gave him worried glances. He didn't care. He ignored them and moved on. Suddenly, a thunder bolt landed in front of Geek and stopped him. Tapu Koko floated down in front of Geek and stared him down.

"You're Geek aren't you?" Tapu Koko asked kindly.

"Yeah, why?" Geek replied.

"Your friend Auroras told me you might try to follow them. He told me to turn you back. I'm sorry, but you're in no condition to leave."

Geek should've known this would happen. Geek tried thinking of a quick way out, but only thought of fighting. He couldn't fight the guardian of the town though. He was one, in no condition to, and two, that would make him out to be some kind of monster to the townspeople. Suddenly, a stupid, yet possible idea popped into Geek's mind. Geek could run, and not to far behind Tapu Koko was the roof of some buildings he could run on. He would have to move fast, and get Tapu Koko distracted. Finally, he had his plan. His idiot of a plan.

"Hey look a distraction!" Geek shouted as he pointed behind Tapu Koko.

"Huh?" Tapu Koko said confused as he turned around.

This was his chance. Geek jumped and landed on Tapu Koko's head, then pushed himself up. He flew pretty high into the air, then landed on the roof of the building. He dashed off towards the town gate. He heard Tapu Koko coming in behind him. This was going to be one interesting day.
