Geek hadn't been in a dungeon alone ever, or so he remembered. Even back before Wraith and all of that happened, Geek always had Volt. This was his first time actually traveling alone. As he went through several pathways and hidden tunnels of sand, he focused on trying to feel the aura of his friends. Finally, about three floors down, he got a reading. Ten floors down, he felt his three friends resting. If he hurried, he might make it. Frantically hurrying now, Geek went down four floors without having to fight anything. About the eighth floor down however, he ran into a Shadow Pokemon.

No doubt Wraith had his eyes on Geek and the others, so he would of course be searching for the place where the Legendary Pokemon are hidden. He wouldn't just send meger controlled Pokemon or the weakest of his Shadow Pokemon. He would send his best. That worried Geek, but with these new abilities, Geek felt pretty good about himself being alone.

A Shadow Beedrill ambushed Geek. Geek swiftly jumped over a Twin Needle attack, then threw up some spikes. He lifted them out of the ground and threw them at the Beedrill who didn't see the attack coming. With an easy one hit ko, Geek continued further down. Another Shadow Pokemon, a Rhydon this time, attacked Geek. Geek jumped on top of the Rhydon and grabbed his horn, then started riding him. He sounded like one of the old western Pokemon from way back when. The Rhydon, extremely aggravated, threw Geek off of him and charged. Geek pretended to be hurt until the Rhydon was too close. Then, with a swift move, Geek incinerated the Shadow Pokemon with his Hand Pulse attack. He decided to call it that since it was a Dragon Pulse, coming from his hand. An original name he thought to himself.

Finally, Geek got to the tenth floor and saw his friends still relaxing. Or, were they unconscious? Geek couldn't tell from his hiding spot. Then he saw Auroras twitch. Geek hadn't planned it out before, but now he realized a fault in his plan. Auroras was a Riolu too, so he could sense an aura nearby. Since he and Geek had met before, Auroras would recognize the pattern, and link it up. Geek muttered under his breath as he tried hiding even more.

"Guys, we're not alone," Geek heard Auroras say.

"Yes you are, yes you are, yes you are," Geek kept repeating under his breath.

"What do you mean?" Moss asked curious.

"I mean I feel an aura nearby. Two actually," Auroras said.

"Two?" Geek thought to himself.

Suddenly, a loud screech, that same, un natural screech from so long before, rung across the desert. Drew was the first one up, and the other two followed close behind. Geek slowly peered out from behind his hiding spot and saw them huddled up in a group. The screech had echoed, so there was no way to tell where it came from, unless...

Geek looked below them, under the sand, and blinked to Aura Vision. Ten Shadow Sandile and a very strong looking Shadow Krookodile sat beneath them, ready to attack.

"Oh crap," Geek muttered as they all burst from the ground and attacked his friends.

Moss got snagged first. The scarf glowed brightly as he slashed the Sandile away with his Leaf Blade. Then, he followed up with a Mega Drain, which took out three of the Sandile. Auroras slammed into multiple Sandile at once with an Extreme Speed, then sent Aura Spheres into all five of them. Drew wiped up the others with a quick Dragon Pulse of his own. Then, there was only the Krookodile.

"Come at us bro," Moss taunted.

The Krookodile smiled. The first and hopefully last time Geek would ever have to see a Shadow Pokemon smile. Then, he wiped them. With one sweep of his tail the Krookodile dropped all three of them. He reached down to Moss and grabbed the scarf. Geek watched in horror as the Krookodile ripped the scarf away, tossed it aside, then charged up a Draining Orb attack. Geek was supposed to stay hidden, but he wouldn't let this happen again. Last time, there was nothing he could do. This time, he was going to do something.

"Hey!" Geek shouted before the Krookodile turned Moss into an empty husk.

Drew looked over and smiled as Geek jumped into the air and Extreme Sped into the Krookodile, sending him flying. Auroras cheered, and Moss just stared at him, dumbfounded.

"You guys stay back," Geek commanded, "This one's mine."
