The team sat in the Taku Taku Cities ruins at Dist's home. It was night, and they knew they could never get to the Legend's Cove in the remaining light. On top of the time, the storm had really kicked up on their way down from the mountain, so they all decided to wait it out at the city. Dist's home, despite not looking very good, was the best house the group could agree on. Dist laid on a couch that Auroras found in another house, while Auroras and Moss sat at a very old table they found at the third floor of Dist's home. Geek didn't even know he had a third floor. Geek laid in bed, which was also found in another house, mainly because he was weak and tired from the battle before. Drew sat next to Geek just because Geek couldn't get to the table without looking half dead.
"You know," Geek said, "I gotta thank you. Without you, I would have never been able to get that orb."
"Pft. I wasn't any help. You were the one that snatched it from Dist. I just got it to him for you," Drew replied.
"I know. I would have never gotten the orb from Dist if it hadn't been for you. Thanks," Geek replied.
There was a pause before the conversation started on a different note.
"So what do we do now? Seems like we say that after everything we do doesn't it?" Drew asked.
"Yeah, but that's a good thing. That means we're ready for the next challenge," Geek answered.
"But really, what now?" Drew asked.
"I don't know. I guess we'll have to find out," Geek said.
"GUYS!" Suddenly Moss shouted from the front door.
"What is it?" Drew asked.
"Come look at this!" Auroras now said.
Drew looked at Geek, and then they both shrugged. Geek got out of bed and let Drew help him over to the door. Outside, it was pitch black and the rain was pouring. A flash of lightning lit the skies, then something else did. A face. Wraith's face. He was projecting his voice and face all across the world. This seemed familiar. That word. That hated word among Geek's heart. He listened to what Wraith had to say.
"Pokemon of this world. I have exciting news for all of you! You're heroes, are no more. The ones you relied on, are now mine. There is no more hope for you. The Legendary Pokemon cower in fear at my power, and I laugh at all who try to oppose me now. Heed my words. Tomorrow morning, I will unleash my power upon this world, and turn everything, into nothing. There will be no more Pokemon, no more planet, there won't even be a tiny speck. All of it will be consumed. This is my word, and you can trust me to fulfil that promise."
Promise. Geek let the word hang. He had made a promise too. To Volt. To Tsunami. To Wave. He had made a promise to them. But now, that promise was more than just to them. It was to everyone. Geek looked at Moss and Auroras, both looking at each other with worried expressions. Geek looked to Drew, and found him looking back at Geek. Drew smiled again, and Geek smiled back. Despite things being bad, Geek couldn't help it. Why was Drew just so darn happy? Geek didn't understand it, but he liked it. It gave him hope, despite Wraith saying there was none. Then, Geek got an idea. It was crazy. It was stupid, and it would probably get them killed, but it was an idea. Geek smiled for a legitimate reason now.
"Guys. Pack it up. We're going now," Geek commanded.
"What? Why?" Moss asked.
"We need to get to the Legends Cove by tomorrow morning. I have an idea."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning, as the sun rose up, on the distance, far away in the ocean of the world, a bubble began forming. A large, black and red bubble. It began to expand rapidly across the ocean and made it's way to land. Inside, at the top of it, observing everything that was happening, was Wraith. After all of this time, his body was finally back to normal. The same Mewtwo looking body, yet black with a red tail and red eyes. Behind him was Necrozma, still weak from fighting Geek and the others. Wraith wanted to yell at Necrozma and tell him how worthless he was, but Wraith had a better idea. Besides, Necrozma had fulfilled his part of the plan partially.
Necrozma came up behind Wraith and snickered at the destruction their new Realm was causing to the world outside. Wraith smiled, and turned to his fellow dark one.
"Necrozma, I am happy you were able to see my side of the spectrum. I am glad I had a partner this whole time," Wraith said in a cheery tone.
"I am as well Wraith. Without you, I would have never been able to fulfil my goal. Now, we both got what we wanted," Necrozma said as he looked at the destruction outside.
"Yes, and yet, I feel empty inside," Wraith said, changing his tone a bit.
"Why?" Necrozma asked curiously.
"I honestly don't know. Maybe it's because, I DON'T HAVE ALL OF MY POWER YET."
Wraith slammed a fist into Necrozma and sapped every last bit of energy from his body. Necrozma yelled in pain and shock, but was soon silenced as his life energy left him and entered Wraith. The sudden rush of power made Wraith even more excited. He kicked Necrozma's body off the edge of the platform he stood on, then watched as it was surrounded by the energy lock sphere. Necrozma floated up, and began hovering right next to Wraith's greatest trophies. Volt, Tsunami, Wave, and Necrozma, all sitting in a row. Next to them, the entire Explorers of Tomorrow team. Even Victini. Then even next to them, something Wraith had been especially proud of. Skitty, Charmander, Timburr, Eevee, Cubone, and all of the other members of Petal Town.
Wraith smirked at his accomplishments. He had finally done it. Finally, he had won. With his power over running the world, there would be nothing left to stop him. The world would wither away, and he would finally be able to...
"What?" Wraith said in confusion as he looked out of his observation dome.
Flying right at him was a smaller sphere, much brighter, and it was coming in fast. Wraith looked closer at it, and then looked inside it. Inside, he saw Rayquaza, Reshiram, Articuno, and Lugia. Beneath them, he saw Dist, Moss, Auroras, Drew, and Geek. All of them looking more determined than ever to win. Wraith laughed harder than ever before. He would wrap this up quickly. He pointed his hand at the approaching orb and made his hand into a fist. Suddenly, coming from the growing realm that Wraith made, a huge energy beam shot out and sliced the orb in half, then exploded. Nothing came out from the resulting smoke.
Just before Wraith turned away, he saw a sudden flash from the smoke. Turning back around, groaning with the action, Wraith noticed what it was. Bursting from the smoke in four separate directions, were the four Legendary Pokemon. Riding Articuno was Auroras, riding Lugia was Moss and Dist, riding Reshiram was Drew, and finally, in front of them all, Geek rode atop Rayquaza as they all flew right at Wraith's Realm. Angry, Wraith threw both hands out and sent a never ending wave of attacks at the four.
Dodging left and right, up and down, side to side, nothing got a hit. They were all too fast. Wraith clasped both hands together and then shot them forward, sending a huge energy beam, much larger and unavoidable, at his foes. Just before it hit, Drew flew to the front with Reshiram. When the beam cleared, Wraith could see a huge shield covering the group. Geek and Drew's scarves glowed bright enough so that Wraith could see them. Finally, the four Legendary Pokemon with their riders flew into the Realm and landed on a platform much further down than where Wraith was.
Wraith turned his attention away. They had entered at the very bottom of his custom mystery dungeon filled with every single Shadow Pokemon and controlled Pokemon he had. There was no possible way they could get through. Laughing, he continued to view his expansion across the world. Still, he felt a little worry creep into his mind. He wouldn't allow things to repeat like last time. Not again.
--------
Geek landed on his feet with the others. The Legendary Pokemon with them began to fly around and scout out the way ahead. The seemingly small, yet infinite Realm of Wraith gave Geek goosebumps. Not only did being here again make Geek feel uneasy, but the bodies surrounding them also made him unsettled. Everything seemed similar to the last time, but Geek could spot a few minor details. After a few minutes, the Legendary Pokemon returned.
"It's a huge Mystery Dungeon all right. Huge. Every turn has several Shadow and Controlled Pokemon. Wraith really doesn't want us getting in," Rayquaza explained.
"Yeah. We could probably fly over, but it would be hard. Wraith would see us coming," Articuno added on.
"He already knows we're coming, but if we got through the dungeon, he might think he's won because of his massive army. Let's get going," Geek said as he motioned for everyone to follow.
