Tonight was the last night onboard and the ship was throwing a huge final night party with everyone going wild and loose.

Time flew passed quickly; we had been sailing for the past ninety days across international dateline all the way to New Zealand and back. Everybody had become good friends – it was just like a big family onboard.

Sadly, there had been no development between Niall and me. Things were better; at least he was not avoiding me but then again, as the end of the voyage came nearer, there was more work for me to do. Reports to look through, meeting notes, meeting log and a new project coming up in Asia.

On this final night, I could finally loosen up and join the people on deck as we danced and partied.

"Allie! There you are!" Sammy paused to catch her breath.

I eyed her amusingly, "What's up?"

"There's some problem in the store room," she said.

"What problem?" All my senses were alerted.

"I'm not sure," she said. "The chief mate had asked for you."

"I'm on my way," I led the way down the quarters and into the ship's office. "Where?"

"I think he mentioned the galley," she said.

"Galley?" I narrowed my eyes.

"Here," Sammy stopped me in front of the ship's dry provision store room.

I stepped in.

"Chief says he'll be here..." she looked around. "Maybe he's in there..."

"I'll check it out..." I made a few steps into the room before the door was slammed behind me. I turned abruptly and ran to the door.

"SAMMY?!" I banged on the door. "SAMMY?!"

Just then, I heard footsteps running towards me from behind.

"What happened?"

"Niall?!" My eyes opened wide. "What are you doing here?"

"What happened?"
