"Why do we have to share an apartment with her?" Sammy groaned as she settled into the sofa bed next to mine. "Can't she get her own hotel room or something?"

I shrugged.

"Aren't you afraid that she will snatch Niall away from you?" she teased as she came to sit beside me on my bed.

I looked up from my Times magazine and answered, "If that is so, I will give them my blessings."

"You serious?" she said in a shock.

I turned back to my magazine, nodding. "I'm serious. If Niall decided that she's more suitable for him, by all means."

She sighed, "That's true... but why on earth do I end up sharing a room with you?"

"What is wrong with sharing a room with me?" I looked her sideways.

"You snore."

"I do not," I rebuked.

She chuckled, "Just kidding." Then her face became serious again, "I had a room to myself before she came..."

"So that Harry can stay over?" I teased.

She glared at me, "So that I can be spared from your nonsense."

I laughed, "Sorry about that then."

"But seriously," she continued. "Is the treasury really recovering as Mia said – with most of the investors pumping their funds in again?"

I nodded, "Yeah. Slowly but yes."

"I still can't believe we actually ran into Emma – I mean, Linton's daughter," she shook her head in disbelief.

"Me too," I chuckled. "Who would have suspected that his daughter was a backup singer, and for One Direction too!"

"All I can say is that you are really very fortunate," she wriggled her finger at me.

I nodded, "Indeed. And thanks to her, Linton Raymore is back in the treasury again."

"The Duke must be fuming mad," she laughed.

"But Chester told me that his father is taking it well – hasn't lost his temper or anything of those sorts."

"Thank goodness Chester and Belle inherited their mother's gene. I can't imagine living under the same room with another Duke." She was referring to Belle.

"Yeah, they are okay."

"So what do we have today?" she asked. "What are we going to do?"

"Well," I scratched my head. "The boys are out recording until evening. So we got the day to ourselves."

"How about exploring London?" Belle piped as she stuck her head in through the doorway. "I was planning to tour around."

I shrugged, "Fine with me."

"Why were you in London anyway?" Sammy asked.

"School starts only next month. So I thought I would just tour around before then,"

"Where's your school again?" Sammy asked.

"Harvard Law school...?" she arched her eyebrows. "I thought I mentioned it before."

"That's like... the other side of the globe," Sammy pointed out. "Where didn't you tour the States?"

She shrugged, "Niall was telling me that they would be in London. I thought why not drop by and say hi..."
