"So..." Niall asked on the way back. "What are your academic qualifications?"

I chuckled, "You are interested to know?"

"Of course!" he snorted before he sighed. "Well, I guess I should at least know..."

"Should I show you around?"

His eyes opened wider.

"Ben!" I called out. "Could you just drop by St. Anne's?"

I turned back to Niall, "St Anne's was the primary school I went to. There are many primary schools in Genovia – more than hundreds. There it is!"

I pointed to a small cobblestoned building.

"It's a small school actually."

We saw the girls playing in the playground.

"A girls' school?" he mused.

I nodded, "Most of the primary schools are either all girls' or all boys' school. It's quite common."

"Any particular reason why you came here?" he asked.

"Well..." I shrugged. "It is traditionally a convent school and most of the ladies in the royal family came here..."

"But anybody can enter right?"

I nodded, "Yup." I called out to Ben again, "Ben! Can you drop by Merryville?"

"Merryville is a little out of town, near to the valley," I told Niall.

"An all girls' school as well?" he mused.

I laughed, "Nope. There are boys." Then I added grimly, "It's where I met my first crush."

His eyes opened wide.

"Tell me about him...?" his hand came to rest on mine.

"His name is Derek Kingston," I replied. "We were in the same grade. I was only twelve then but to me, he was such a handsome boy," I giggled. "He grew to be a popular guy in school. The softball captain and the class president. I would go for all the softball matches just to watch him."

"You crushed on him your entire secondary school life?"

"Well... my eyes did wandered around," I chuckled. "But he was still the one."

"You didn't date?"

I shook my head, "Nobody dared to date me."

He gave me a light squeeze. "What happened next?"

"In our third year, his friends dared him to ask me out. And he did. Even though Sammy warned me, I was too happy to say no. We dated for a few months before I found out about the dare. Then, he started to date me for real. Everything was going on fine, until one day, Grandma – the late Queen, invited him for tea. He was probably terrorized after what Grandma told him. We were still young then. All these responsibilities and stuff probably scare him away. We broke up after that."

"Merryville, Your Highness," Ben stopped the car outside the familiar building which was forever covered with roses.

"There," I smiled as Niall looked out.

"It's quite a girly school," he chuckled.

I rolled my eyes, "Just because of the roses?"

He laughed. "Were you in any sports?"
