Across boundaries >> XXIII <<

If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go

I can take you places you ain't never been before

Baby, take a chance or you'll never ever know

I got money in my hands that I'd really like to blow

Swag, swag, swag, on you

Chilin' by the fire while we eatin' fondue

I don't know about me but I know about you

So say hello to falsetto in three, two, swag

If I was your boyfriend, never let you go

Keep you on my arm girl, you'd never be alone

I can be a gentleman, anything you want

If I was your boyfriend, I'd never left you go, I'd never let you go

The music of Justin Bieber trailed in the background as I tried to concentrate on getting some work done.

I groaned. Sammy must had gotten herself a new song. The last song, It's Gotta To You, lasted for three months.

"Allie!" She burst into the room and caused me to jump. "I found a new song!"

"I can hear that," I growled.

She grinned. "I'll try to keep it k?"

"You'd better."

"Are we really moving out of Sophia?" she asked as she plodded into the armchair across me.

"Of course, I do not like people having a hold over me."

She nodded in understanding, "So we are moving to Agape?"

"I don't see where else we can go," I shrugged.

"Allie," she looked at me seriously.

"Hmm?" I kept my head buried at my screen.

"Are you okay with leaving Chester in this state? I mean, you have been best of friends and now, you guys seemed to have turned into enemies... It wasn't exactly his fault..."

I tore my eyes away to look at her. "I know," I replied sadly. "Chester is really a nice guy. I'm sorry things have to turn out like this. If only the Duke hadn't been so adamant about it..."

"Seriously," she continued. "Would he really let it go if you return Sophia?"

"I'm not sure," I admitted. "I hope so."

"Anyway," she chuckled. "I think you need a break. You are turning nineteen soon!"

"Gosh! I had forgotten about it!" I exclaimed. It was going to be my birthday in three days' time!

She rolled her eyes, "I can't imagine anyone forgetting their birthdays. Does Niall know about it?"

I scratched my head, "I'm not sure if I mentioned it before..."

"How can he call himself your boyfriend if he doesn't know when your birthday...is?" she snorted.

"It's not exactly his fault..." I defended.

"Aww... somebody's getting all defensive," she teased.

"Shut up," I blushed.

"Why don't we take a break and look for them?" she said suggested.
