Hi all! For those of you who have followed my story since ATOF, a big thank-you! MUCKS! Firstly, I have to apologise that this story is going rather slow. But I'm going to skip forward and write with inclusion of One Direction - timeline would the one year during Zayn & Jo's break-up. Depending on the outcome of this story, I might write a sequel combining these two stories.

"You must be joking," Sammy shook her head in disbelief.

"I am not," I shrugged.

"Why did you do that?" she asked in amusement. "I can't believe you actually asked Niall to date you..."

"What's wrong?" I asked. "Am I not good enough for him?"

She rolled her eyes, "You know that's not what I meant."

"Then?"

"You don't even know him!" she pointed out. "Besides, you always have such high expectations for your boyfriends."

"I thought it would be fun..."

"Allie," her tone became serious. "This is not funny. You have just asked a perfectly decent guy to be your date just because you think it is fun? I cannot believe you!"

"Look Sam," I said. "I'm sick and tired of all these. Day in day out meetings and all these royalty crap. I just want to have a little fun. I just want to be normal for once."

"And you think by dating a pop star, you can get 'normal'?" she emphasized the word with her fingers. "Just look at this." She handed me her IPAD.

"What's this?" I saw a picture of a guy kissing a girl.

"It's creating big news all over England now. Zayn Malik kissing an unknown girl in the pub and grabbing her breast."

I took a careful look. Indeed, his hand was on her breast.  "So?" I handed her IPAD back.

"See what kind of trouble it is causing his girlfriend – Jo Andrews? Not only is she feeling upset now; she has to face the media too." She walked towards the window and drew a crack in the curtains.

I saw a huge group of cameramen gathered at the entrance of the hotel driveway.

"So," she continued. "Can you imagine what will happen if the news got hold of you and Niall being 'together'?" she gestured with her fingers again. "Niall Horan of One Direction and Princess Allyson Renaldi." She shook her head. "You would never be able to clean up this mess."

"I'm not intending to let the media know about it."

"And how are you going to do that?" she folded her arms, smirking.

I shrugged.

Then she narrowed her eyes. "Are you doing all these just to spite the Elders?"

"What?"

"Because of the betrothal..." she gasped. "Allie, you are not thinking of that, are you?"

"I haven't thought of that..." A smile began to form on my face. "Sammy, you just gave me a brilliant idea!"

"Gosh," she gaped. "Allie, don't do that. You are not telling me that you are going to use Niall..."

"No, that would be way too mean," I said. "But it's an idea," I winked.

"Allie!"

"Now, if you'll excuse me," I said as I walked past her. "I have a date."
