When your enemies expect you to cower in fear,
Hide in the crevices, armed with the mark of the devil.
When the saints come marching and threatening your name,
Move in silence, and they'll never know when to attack.
Bow down to the pressure in the midst of a storm
But stand your ground in the face of danger,
Let your roots grow deep.Hold your breath when you fall underneath,
But never allow a soul to steal your ability to breathe.
Don't worry about being isolated, as you'll always have yourself,
And don't worry about the silence;
It makes for better help.Bow to the influences that surround your mind,
But never allow yourself to fully cave.
Wander by dusk and run when it turns night,
Learn how to love the sun;
Even the shade.Always keep enough energy to build yourself back up,
Because if you never learn how to fall safely,
You'll never learn how to handle not being
enough.
