After coming to the realization that they truly only had two options to keep Harry safe the men decided that they needed to have a meeting with Dumbledore.

"Mr. Black Mr. Lupin, I see you decided to keep your given last names. How are you?" Albus Dumbledore asked.

"As okay as we can be given that my cousin is still on the loose and trying to bring back Voldemort." Sirius said with a scowl.

"Ah, yes, I've heard that." He said bringing his fingers to a steeple and resting his chin on them. "I assume you're here to ask about young Harry's safety?"

"You're correct, professor. However would he be able to spend some time with Minerva while we discuss this?" Remus asked before Sirius could get loud. Just a few moments later Professor Mcgonagall and Madam Pomfrey come walking into the office.

"Hello Harry! How would like to come to my office for a bit?" Madam Pomfrey asked.

"Yes ma'am, can we stop by the library?" Harry replied hugging his godfathers.

"He is such a good boy. Congratulations gentlemen, you've done a wonderful job raising the boy. Now, this was about his safety, correct?" Dumbledore says once Harry and Madam Pomfrey had left.

"Yes, Sirius and I are worried that either Bellatrix or Voldemort will be coming for Harry sometime in the near future. I'm sure you must be thinking the same." Remus started. "We have decided that once he starts school we will either need to be near him or go into hiding. Someone could very well use us to get to him, as a trap of some sort. We, of course, would never give him up. But he's a very head strong boy, if something happened to us he would try to find us."

"I agree entirely Mr. Lupin. Are you planning on moving to Hogsmead before the next school year?" Dumbledore asked.

"Headmaster, we are still looking for a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, correct? Don't tell me you thought hiring that nervous little man would be a good idea?" Professor Mcgonagall cut in before anyone could say anything else. She always had a way of making people see sense in things, especially Dumbledore.

"I suppose not. However Mr. Black here was an Auror before the war, yes?" Dumbledore asked. "And Mr. Lupin would be more than adequate if his husband doesn't want to teach."

"Well, didn't see that coming." Sirius said after a moment a little shocked. "I think that Moony here would make a wonderful teacher! Would I be able to live in the castle as well? This was about keeping us all together in order to keep Harry safe."

"Certainly. This is a special instance, I'm sure it can be arranged." Dumbledore replied casually.

"Defense Against the Dark Arts, yeah?" Remus said letting it sink in that he would be teaching in the very first place that seemed like a real home to him during his childhood. "Next school year? Harry's first year, yeah?" He asked still a little shocked.

"Yes, if that is okay with you?"

"Yes! Yes that sounds amazing!" He replied getting excited.

"Wonderful, now that that is settled we should get you to the library to get some books on the suggested topics to be covered by each age group." Minerva said, letting it slide that Dumbledore thought that this was entirely his idea.

Once the family of three arrived back at 12 Grimmauld Place with stacks of books in tow they told Harry about what would be happening during his first school year. They had to remind him that he still wasn't allowed to wander at night, that they would still find out. Remus stressed the fact that Harry wouldn't be receiving special treatment, that he would have to work just as hard as everyone else to earn his marks.

"But Moony, what about the full moons? Who's going to teach then?" Harry asked picking up one of the books Remus brought home from the library.

"Well Padfoot here will be teaching them!" Remus answered excited and kissing his husband. "But we have a few months before we have to really worry about that. I will be reading more, though."

"I can help! I can't wait to tell my friends! Hermione is going to be so exited! She loves school and for her to find out that you're going to be teaching, she's going to love it!" Harry said excited running to write to his friends.

Four months before the school year began Remus began noticing some shady looking people hanging around the book shop. After about his forth shift of being watched he decided to write to Minerva expressing his worries. Sirius was convinced that it had something to do with his cousin and he did not want to take any chances when it came to Harry and his well-being. The reply they received was more serious than expected. They were told to pack their things and move into the castle within the next two days. Apparently no one was taking chances this time. Harry didn't fully understand why they were moving right away, he wasn't too happy about it, this is where he grew up, his home. Sirius had to explain to him that it probably wouldn't be forever, but that it needed to be done to save him. Remus reminded him that they would have been moving in a few months anyway. After about an hour and a half of convincing Harry that this really was completely necessary and that he would like lving in the castle they had finally started packing up.

Once they were all packed, everything that they were taking was shrunk and put into trunks, they caught the night bus to the train station and from there they took a train to Hogsmead. Upon arriving in Hogsmead they were met by a flustered looking Minerva and Dumbledore.

"Minnie! We're going to be living in the castle now, I don't understand why people are after me. I mean, l know why. It's just not fair, I didn't do anything wrong. I just want to live at home with my godfathers and my things." Harry said clearly upset, hugging the woman.

"I know, dear. This isn't fair, it isn't right. You're just a child and you should be allowed that luxury, however we have to keep you safe. You'll be able to go see Hagrid and the lake, maybe go bug Professor Snape to teach you about potion ingredients. It'll be okay, Harry." The woman said holding the boy close.

"Let's get to the castle, yeah?" Remus said casting a levitating charm to allow the trucks to follow them to the castle.

As the group made their way to the castle Dumbledore explained where Remus' quarters were and that there was a another bedroom attached for Harry. The sun was just starting to rise when they arrived at the castle so the family of three was told that the elves would bring them breakfast and to get settled. When they walked in there was a large sitting area with a window taking up a large portion of the wall, with a love seat, a couch, two large plush chairs, and a sitting room table in the middle of it all with bookshelves lining the walls. There was a large master bedroom with two large windows, two closets, two bedside tables, two bookshelves, and a large desk. The other bedroom was on the other side of the sitting room, this one was smaller but still had a large closet, a desk, a bedside table, a bookshelf, and a large window with a plush bench next to it that the looked over the lake.

"Prongslet, we have to go see Dumbledore later today, all of us." Sirius said wrapping an arm around the tired boy.

"Mmkay, later?" Harry said leaning his head on Sirius' shoulder. "M tired."

"Sure, pup." Sirius replied with a small laugh. "later." He kissed the boy on his head and carried him to his bed to tuck him in.

"What a day, Moony." The man sighed while leaning into his husband's arms and drifting off to sleep.
