HAILEY'S POV
After I got discharged, Harry walked me back to Beauxbatons tower. I promised to meet him at breakfast, and headed inside the tower. The dorm was empty, so I showered probably longer than I should have and after pulling on a casual t-shirt and jeans, headed to breakfast. The second I walked through the door, two familiar boys ran straight up to me.
"Hey, Hails!" Draco and Cedric called me at the same time. They gave each other death glares and I felt my cheeks go red. Before I could reply, Celeste had her arm wrapped around mine, and was pulling me away to her table.
"Oh no you don't." She mumbled to Draco and Cedric, who seemed amused. I just shrugged and mouthed "Later" to them both.
Celeste didn't let go until we were back to her table, where Adalene and Amity were waiting.
"Yes?" I asked, smiling and taking my seat.
"Since you've been in the hospital wing all you've done is spent time with those boys." Adalene started. Uh oh.
"Guys... I know. I'm so so sorry, you know you're all way more important to me than either one of them and I'm so sorry I didn't see that before-"
"No, Hailey, we don't care about that. Well, we do! But that's not what we pulled you over here to talk about, we know this is our only year to associate with boys and we understand." Amity spoke for all three of them.
"Oh... Then what'd you guys wanna talk about?" I asked curiously, resting my elbows on the table in front of me and placing my chin on my fists.
"Like we said, you've been spending every day with both of them..." Amity continued.
"And?" I asked, confused.
"C'mon, Hailey! Which one do you like more? You have to know by now!" Celeste finally blurted.
"Shh! Guys... I- I can't pick-" I grew more confused and sad.
"Hailey... If that's how you truly feel, you know you shouldn't be with Cedric, right? Not until you know he's the one you want." Celeste sighed, grabbing one of my hands. She was right and I knew it.
"You're right, it's not fair to either of them. But, if I break up with Cedric before the final task, that could throw both our game off..." I stalled. I didn't want to lose him.
"You're right... Maybe do it after the task?" Adalene thought aloud. All the girls agreed with her, and I was happy with that.
We left breakfast and my memory of promising Harry I'd meet him slipped away as Cedric grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the castle with him. The girls giggled.
I was immediately swept into a kiss, that took me by surprise and made my stomach flutter.
"Hello to you too," I mumbled against his lips, to which he laughed.
"Sorry, love, I've just missed being able to grab you and kiss you whenever I wanted, rather than having to lean over a hospital bed." Cedric smiled. "I'm so happy you're alive and well." He kissed me again and grabbed my hand.
"Me too," I whispered, resting my head against his shoulder.
"Are you feeling well enough for a date?" Cedric asked suddenly.
"A date?" I asked with my eyebrows raised and a smile on. He nodded. "And where would we go on this date?"
"Hogsmeade," Cedric stated, and I realized he wasn't just taking us to the path to walk like we normally do, he wanted to take me to Hogsmeade, like my first date with Draco. Guilt took over and I let go of his hand.
