Am I a monster (Levi x OC)

Chapter 1

A voice yelled my name. It was muffled and hard to make out, but it was there. A flash of lightning shot out across my vision as several figures came into view. A man and a woman holding a child, a man with a knife holding it to a woman's neck, giants, groups of women and men huddled together in impoverished groups. Military policemen pointing guns at a group of citizens, a dark haired woman brushing her hair, a blond haired man who seemed to be in bad health standing over a hospital bed holding a baby, and finally, a woman with a survey corps jacket standing on the edge of a cliff with a ship in the distance over a large body of water. Darkness enveloped me, all memories of what just happened faded. I tried desperately to get them back, but it was no use. Soon everything was gone. It was as if I was stuck in a trance.

Suddenly, a pair of hands on my shoulders jolted me awake. I took a minute to adjust. The surroundings were dark and depressing. The terrain was covered in fog and mist, the surroundings hidden from view. I turned around slowly to see a raven haired man in an undercut holding my arms in a position where I couldn't move.

"Levi." I said recognizing my best friend since we were little.

It's not like I could move, my legs were suspended in a mass of flesh. I tried to get myself out of it but I was stopped abruptly by voices from below.

"Hey!" A voice screamed at the top of his lungs "Don't try anything bitch! I'll kill you in a heartbeat!"

"Hey!" Levi shouted right into my ear "Anyone comes any closer, and they get my sword shoved up their ass!"

The terrain was becoming more visible now. It was clear, no trees as far as I could see. I suddenly noticed that I was on a different plane from that of the other soldiers. It wasn't just my feet that were suspended in flesh, I was sitting in it. I finally pulled out of the body and fell to the ground, along with Levi who still had a hold on me. I looked in front of me to see a very tall figure with blond hair in an undercut who you could recognize from a mile away. Erwin Smith, squad leader of the survey corps and my enemy.

"Squad leader!" A soldier shouted "Why are you defending them? They commited a possible act of treason against the monarchy!"

"I understand your freight." Erwin said defending us "But we should at least give them the ability to explain themselves. In our government, a person is not proven guilty until they have had trial and are proven."

"But sir-" The same soldier started

"I command all of you to back off immediately or YOU will be tried with not doing as your superior officer tells you to." Erwin said raising his voice

"Sir I can't. I can't just sit here and let this bitch go away unpunished! You're just going to let the fact that she turned into something that we can't even identify, when they were already suspicious even before this mission."

"Do I have to repeat myself?" Erwin asked getting angry and clearly making the other soldiers feel uncomfortable, as they all lowered their blades that they had pointed at me.

"Yes sir." The soldier said lowering his blade

"Now." Erwin said turning towards Levi and I. "Are you going to explain yourselves?"

I didn't even know what was going on. I couldn't remember anything since the start of the mission beyond the walls. Levi could tell that I didn't understand so he decided to talk for me.

"Fine." He said looking directly at Erwin and the other soldiers. "Let's start from the beginning."

As soon as he said that, the mist and fog cleared from the area as the corpses of titans littered the plains.
