Am I a monster (Levi x OC)

Chapter 9

Just a heads up, this entire fanfiction will consist of a total of 5 parts. Taking into consideration the manga.

The 1st part was the Choice with No Regrets.

2nd part will be season 1.

3rd will be season 2.

4th will be a mixture of both the "government take over" arc and the "Back to Shiganshina" arc (the future Season 3)

5th will be the Marley arc and everything beyond up until the end of the series (the future Season 4).

"Are you ok?" Levi asked me. I was laying on my bed gripping my chest. Everything hurt, the experiments were getting worse and were now getting into physical harm.

It had been over a year since joining the survey corps. And almost the same amount of time since the trial. It lasted for 5 days straight. It turns out that the public was not told about it, in order to keep a rebellion from happening. All military branches wanted to use me for my powers. The military police wanted me to be experimented on and then killed. The garrison wanted me to be put into their ranks in order to enforce the walls. And the survey corps wanted to recruit me as a full member. All of them made good points about the expeditions details but for some reason, no one brought up the mission for the documents. It seemed, that the extreme details were not released to the other branches. The trial consisted of witnesses, proposals of every kind, arguments, fights, and just about everything else that you could think of. In the end, the result was a compromise, the survey corps would gain custody of me, if both the military police and the garrison put in the rules of my custody. The rules were as follows

1. I would be put under strict surveillance for as long as needed while I was kept in a secure position where I could not do anything to rebel.

2. I would be experimented on during my time for at least once a week for a full year in order to learn more about my powers. The experiments would be decided on by the military police, and each round would require a police soldier to look over and assess the experiments.

3. During any expedition beyond the walls, I would be put in the commanding unit, led by Erwin Smith.

4. And finally, I should not, in any circumstance, transform without the approval from a commander or squad leader.

The survey corps were getting ready for a new mission so things were getting more intense. I was sweating and bleeding from my nose. We had learned that the transformation requires self harm and I have to have a certain goal in mind. The experiments consisted of a number of things. At first they tried doing it every day but it took too much stress on my body, so they moved it to once a week. The first few experiments were to make sure that I retained conscious when transforming. These always ended in a success as I was always able to control my movements and take orders from anyone else. There would always be a run down on body size or any physical trait that might had changed since the last experiments. Communication skills were another key element. Being able to communicate with me would be a big milestone, however the tests always ended in a failure. There was just no way of communication verbally. We then went on to what would change every week. There were intelligence tests, strength tests, I had to do building tasks, it changed every week, but recently they've gotten more physical as they needed to know where to strike if I was ever needed to be contained as it was getting to end of that part of my contract. The experiments lasted longer and it usually ended in myself needing to leave it so I wouldn't go completely insane. Today was the final experiment of the contract. Today was the first day of an expedition beyond the walls, but I was not to go along since it was the last day of the contract. Levi also had insisted that he not go. I was taken out of my cell held below the survey corps headquarters after only a month and was given a personal room with Levi for our bravery in the last expedition.

Levi put his hand on my head again and immediately took it off. "I don't know what to do. The fevers not going down." He said "It's way over what a normal person would get if sick."

I laughed under my breath "So the clean freak will be around someone who has a fever huh? I always thought you were too afraid to even go near anyone like that."

"Shut up." He said getting up "You gave me a reason to keep living. I'm just doing my best to see that you make it through this. I'm going to tell Erwin that you came back to us."

He left the room and didn't come back. Erwin came in a few minutes later.

"Are you doing ok?" He asked walking in

"I've been better." I said

"I'm sorry about this, but it's necessary to learn more about this phenominon."

"I understand." I said sitting up in the bed "I still think it would have been better for the people to know about this."

"It was the commander in chiefs decision that the public would not be made known about it. I kind of get his thinking though. What would happen if the public was made aware of a possibly rebellious personnel within the walls?" He asked me

"They would get nervous. People may rebel and start a conflict within the walls that might even lead to civil war." I said realizing the commander in chiefs decisions. "How did the expedition go? You came back earlier than normal."

"Commander Shardis has resigned from the commander status. The commanding position has been passed down to me" Erwin said

"What?" I said in shock

"The late commander gave this title to me at the end of our expedition. I'd also like to mention that There is now a seat open in our strategy committee, which is actually one of the other reasons I came here. Would you like to-" He started

"Commander!" A soldier suddenly yelled coming into the room. "Wall Maria has been breached! Titans have broken through!"

That's when things in my life changed. Whether it was for the better or worse, it was definitely changed. I thought that joining the survey corps was the weirdest part of my life, but it turns out I was wrong. After wall Maria was destroyed, we experienced things that would change the course of the future.
