Chapter 16 end of part 2

"What the hell do you think you're doing commander?" The female military police soldier yelled at Erwin. "Do you understand the seriousness of this situation?!"

Madison Sorell. Squad leader of the military police. Rank 2. She was a light brunette who always looked like she woke up with a bed head. I'd only seen her in court. She actually testified for my enrolment into the Survey Corps during my trial. I hadn't seen her since then. She was around my age, but a lot taller. She was almost the same height as Erwin.

"As captain of this operation, I have the authority to execute you where you stand." She said walking right up to Erwin. Soldiers behind her pointing guns at him

"ms. Madison." I said walking to one side of the commander "you are being quite irrational."

"Oh. That's right." She said turning to me. "I have in the mission reports that you turned into a Titan without the consent of a superior officer! Explain yourself!"

I didn't know how to respond. I did go against my contracts orders.

"She did that to save my life." Levi said, his attire was different as he was wearing a suit and tie. "I was about to be killed by the female titan. When she came in to save my life before I was going to be bitten in two."

"That doesn't save you!" She said putting her full focus on me

"Levi is right." Erwin said putting his hand across me to prevent further conflict. "I believe being in the survey corps for 6 years is proof that she is mature enough to make her own decisions."

An explosion came from a side of the city. Erwin maintaining a stable face with the other soldiers watching as a Titan Eren rushes through the city.

"He got it." I said watching the Eren chase after the female titan.

"Put this man under arrest." Madison said to the soldiers "keep an eye on him. Don't let him out of your sight."

"Yes ma'am." A soldier said taking out a pair of handcuffs and putting them on erwin.

"Report the situation back to me." Madison said to the soldiers who were already ready to go "Focus on evacuation!"

Soldiers rushed off in all directions, looking for any civilians still left in the city. We walked with several to an opening where Eren had the female titan in a position where she couldn't move. Eren was sitting on top of her, about ready to bite her nape out

"Shit." Hanji shouted from a rooftop "Eren stop! You're going to kill her!"

Eren ripped into the nape, exposing the traitor. Eren stopped for a second before light enveloped the area. The two titans were merging. Levi lept off the bridge we were standing on, and cut Eren out of the nape before any more damage could be done.

The female titan was gone, only the shifter remained. The woman was trapped in some sort of crystal, similar to the hardening ability she used in the recent expedition. The crystal was taken away for further investigation but the military police had plans for the survey corps.

The night of the attack, multiple soldiers were brought in as well as witnesses.

"Erwin." The mayor of the city said "you have been charged with multiple acts of going agains the monarchy. You know very well that the recent titans attack has done serious damage to the city. And the whole reason you planned this attack has no encased herself in a prison which we can not break into. I have reason to believe that this was a failed operation."

"Fail?" Erwin asked looking up at him "Sir, I believe that this last plan has moved us forward by leaps and bounds. Not only do we know that there are people who can turn into titans, but we have two of them on our side, and we have captured another. I have reason to believe that corporal Ava and Eren Yeager possess the same power."

Everyone was shocked to hear such words spoken to the mayor

"Sir this recent turmoil is a step forward for mankind."

(??? POV)

Two cloaked figures stood on top of wall Sina. One with a dagger in hand.

"Is it time?" One asked the other

"no." The other said "Give it time. Let the devils play." The other said watching the side of the wall crumble beneath them as a titans head appeared in the cracks.
