Am I a monster (Levi x OC)

Chapter 18

This chapter will be a lot shorter, but I wanted to make two this weekend for missing a lot of time before chapter 17.

(Mike POV)

It had been an hour since the titan's supposedly broke through wall Rose. Multiple sightings were made coming from the direction of the wall, but there weren't as many as would be predicted. I split off from the rest of the group in order to take down the several titan's in the area. There were only three more left

"Now's my chance. I've bought enough time for all the squads to get far away from here."

I whistled for my horse which was nowhere in sight. The building that I was standing on wasn't big enough to withstand a 15 meter class. I looked to see another titan coming out of the woods that I hadn't noticed before, I gasped at it's size. It was easily 20 meters tall. Massive, and it looked much different than any other titan. It was pitch black, with giant fists and two claw like structures sticking out of it's hands. It's build was much wider than most titans but that made it even more powerful. It was very slow moving, but terrifying. It was an aberrant, it wasn't going for me. My horse soon came into view, running right in front of the huge titan. Just as I was about to maneuver onto it, the titan lifted it up into the air.

"The horse?!" I yelled, watching it get crushed in its giant hand. The titan moved its arm back and threw the horse at terrifying speeds towards me. I jumped out of the way, but slipped and slid down the roof of the building. I looked down to see a smaller titan with it's hand reaching out towards me.

It grabbed me by the torso as it bit down on my legs. The pain was unbearable, my legs didn't come off fully, but the damage was done.

"Hold it." A human voice said calmly, right behind the titan that held me. I looked up to see the 20 meter class looking down at me as it kneeled down to my level.. The titan sat down, as if on a chair and put its arms across one of it's legs. I looked in front of it to see a human coming out from in front of it's leg. I watched in horror at the two before the titan once again bit down on my leg.

"Hey." The human said snapping his fingers. The taller titan reached down and grabbed the smaller one by the head and squeezed it until the eyes popped out of it's sockets. "I told you to wait."

I fell to the ground, my eyes making its way up the human in front of me. He was around his mid 20's but already had a full mustache and beard. He was blond, his hair in curls as it went down to his shoulders. Huge glasses made him look very strange. He had clothes that I had never seen, he had a shirt on, but there was a vest over it, with a small arm band around it that had a star on it. His black pants looked really tight on him as they showed every part of his legs through the fabric. I looked in horror as he seemed to communicate with the titan behind him

"What is that weapon called?" He asked, almost politely. "The one on your hips that allows you to jump around and fly."

He was clearly not from the area as he didn't know what the 3D maneuver gear was, but that wasn't the problem at the moment. I was too full of questions to even formulate a response. The man lifted his hand up and scratched his ear, almost as if impatient with me, waiting for a response.

"I was certain that we spoke the same language." I looked behind him in horror as the titan spoke. It's voice was very rough, and almost sounded metallic. "Maybe he's too frightened to speak."

"Oh, that would explain it." The human said back to it. "You use swords. Then you know that we reside in the nape." He pondered for a moment, as I tried to grab swords from out of the holsters but couldn't bring myself to do it. "Well." He said looking back down at me "We'll just have to bring it back with us." He said snapping his fingers again. The titan moved its arm. I covered my head thinking that it was going to kill me. I felt it as the maneuver gear was taken off of me. I looked back to the titan who lifted the human up to it's shoulder. I suddenly remembered what I had told Nanaba, another member of my squad earlier that day. "'As long as we keep on fighting, we cannot be defeated!'" I yelled as I pulled a sword up from the ground next to me.

"Hm?" The human said looking back towards me, with the titan also looking back. "Ah. Right." he said "You're free to do what you want with him." It said to the other titan's

I winced as the other titans came out of nowhere and picked me up. I struggled, swinging my sword everywhere to do something, but it was too much. One tore at my head and torso as everything went black.

"So he can speak." I said watching the titan's eat the young man.

"God. I didn't think titan's could be so brutal. I wouldn't want to die like that."

"Well, we don't really have a say in that do we?" I said looking at the human on my shoulder "One thing will lead to another, and soon we'll both be meeting that same fate."

"But what an interesting invention." He said holding up the gear that he had with him. "I think you should have it, El."

I just looked towards the distance, watching the sun slowly set over the horizon "That's up to you." I said as the vision of the wall came into view.
