This cop, Matsuda, and I went back to my apartment and he watched as I gathered my stuff, left keys under the mat, and a note on the door for the landlord, and went back with him and he lead me to my room, where I organised my stuff for the second time that day, and went out to the room.

I found L at a table with a bowl of candies in front of him, and I went over to sit down and took some, eating them, and he stared openly at me.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Let's play a game, L. Me and you." I said, popping a candy in my mouth. "You have to try and figure out who I am. I may give you facts about myself, I may not. Just depends on how I'm feeling at the time."

"What's the prize when I win?" He asked and I laughed.

"So confident that you already know you'll win. That's my boy." I said and thought back in my memories, smiling. "You'll know the prize once you know who I am. Let's say that." I said and took more candy from him.

"First fact about me. I love sweets just as much, probably more, than you do." I smiled and ate some more candy from his bowl. "So keep me fed." I gave him a look. "I get withdrawal symptoms, and it's not pretty when I run out of sugar and caffeine." I said and he nodded.

"Noted." He hummed.

"So tell me. You said Kira is possibly in this room." I said and looked around at the people, and one stood out like a sore thumb. He was younger than us, and had the look I recognised. "It's him." I said and L looked at the guy and nodded.

"He's the number one suspect. How did you know?" He asked me and munched on some candy with me.

"My intelligence almost matches yours." I said and he gave me a look. "Don't worry, you're still the smartest guy in the room. I'm just close, a few points behind." I shrugged, and we were nearing the bottom of the bowl.

"Watari." L called and I looked over to Wammy.

"Is that what you're going by?" I asked and he nodded. "...do you recognise me?"

"Of course, Rosie." He gave a smile and I returned it.

"Don't tell L anything about me, he's gotta figure it out himself." I stood to whisper in his ear.

"I agree with you there." He said and I patted his shoulder. "But you and I need to have a talk later, young lady."

"Yes, sir." I said and sat back down as he took the empty bowl and went to refill it.

"So you weren't lying." L hummed, looking at me.

"I'm not a liar, L. You are, as I remember." I grinned. "You lie so much. It's a good thing I can always tell when you're telling the truth."

"You are infuriating." He sighed and a bowl of chocolates with caramel and crispy bits were placed in front of us, and I clapped my hands excitedly. Wammy remembered these were my favourites.

We made small talk as we munched on the chocolates, and I could tell he was trying to pull more information from me. I smiled and gave him a knowing look when he asked questions.

"Guess you are pretty smart." He hummed.

"You bet." I smiled. "I could be as smart as you, but I am really lazy."

"Not too lazy to murder someone in cold blood." He said.

"That's a different reason all together, L." I said.

"I go by Ryuzaki here." He said.

"Yeah... I don't give a shit. You're still L." I said. Still my L.

"You don't look Japanese..." he said, his thumb on his lip as he looked at me.

"I'm not in the slightest. Today's actually my first day in Japan. Ever." I said.

"Why come here? Kira is here." He said.

"Exactly. Kira is here. I only kill certain people, and Kira only kills criminals, kinda. I was using Kira as a cover. Seemed like a good idea until your cops found me." I said and looked over at the two. "Which I am so thankful for, by the way."

"Why?" L asked.

"You're stupid." I rolled my eyes and got up, walking to bed, then turning back. "I need to see your computer."

"Why?" He asked.

"To turn off the cameras and taps in my room." I said and he pressed his lips together tightly. "I know you, L."

"I'm starting to believe you now." He said and grabbed his laptop and I disabled the cameras and taps in my room.

"I'll know if you've turned them back on. Goodnight." I said and walked off.
