the period project

what the hell is a period project? 

if you're a girl, then you know that you get weird and funky ideas when you're on your period. the previous statement is exactly what happened to me. i thought: "hey, what if i did a whole rant book about my dreaded period and life along with other things all while i'm on my period?" but then i was like, "nah, too overrated."

then, i thought "what if i got other girls to rant about life while they were on their periods?" (i don't know why i emphasized 'they.' it just sounded right when i said it out loud to myself.)

alas, the period project was born. 

i will be asking girls that are on their period to rant about what's bugging them at the moment. all the rants will go in this very book. now, that is the period project. 

how do i participate in the period project? 

simple. just inbox me saying you're on your period and that you'd like to rant and have it published in the period project. 

will people have to know that it was me who ranted? 

no, not at all. i can keep it anonymous if you want. please, please, please make sure you tell me that you want to be anonymous, because if you don't...well, you wont be anonymous. 

are there any rules? 

well, yeah. there are a couple.

1. do not lie and say you're on your period when you're not. the period project will be around for some time, you can wait till you actually get your period.

2. if in any situation, your rant is over 2000 words, (the inbox message limit) ask for my email. 

3. make sure you have a short topic title for your rant. 

i know how insanely stupid this is, but i thought it would be funny. it's kinda like a group rant book with a twist.
