Okay, so I use pads, and, probably always will be. At least, I want to. I have never had sex before and I DO NOT want to stick anything up there before I'm ready. A lot of you, sadly, have to share a bathroom with your dad, uncle, brother, cousin, nephew, etc. I, however don't, thanks to my dad. (By the way I don't mean to gloat.) almost all of my friends do though, and supprisingly, they come to me.
Even though I do not have to share a bathroom, I still cover up the signs, if you know what I mean ;)
I do this trick, and I am about to share it all with you in steps.
1. After you finish a roll of toilet paper, keep the roll. Try and collect as many rolls as you can before, after, or even while on your period. Hide them in a safe place, in your room, etc.
2. When the time comes that you have your period, grab a roll and bring it with you to the washroom when you need to clean downstairs ;). Now note, if this is your first time on your first day of the period week,
This might not help you right now. However, any other time will be alright.
3. Take the used pad off of your underwear, wrap toilet paper around it, and pop it in the roll. And if you want to, add the wrappers if the next pad you are going to use in the roll as well. Try and hide it as best you can.
4. Finish cleaning up however you want to, and get on with your day :).
Oh, and I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, but I do this, so I will tell you girls anyways.
Before you get into a shower or bath, put a pad on your underwear, and leave it on the floor beside the shower/bathtub. When you get out, you can dry off your legs and slip your underwear on. That way you don't have to worry about getting blood on the floor or rug.
Hope these suggestions helped!
