Dan Howell x Reader | Chris' Sister

First Day-Part 1

Hello my lovely inklings! First day at vidcon! And yes I have realized how dysfunctional the relationship is but it should return to normal now that Phil gave such a motivational speech! Enjoy!

(Y/n)'s POV

I awoke, tangled in Dan's arms, cold air seeping in through the edges of the hotel duvet. I groaned and smacked around at my phone to turn of the alarm. Chills arose on my arm at the exposure of the cold air and I yanked my arm back under the blanket. I closed my eyes for a few seconds opening them to see Phil extremely close to my face.

I let out a small squeak and he stepped back pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Sorry, but you need to get up! We have to meet up with PJ, Chris, Zoella, Casper, Joe and Dodie in an hour and I am assuming you don't want to meet them in your pyjamas." Phil said. He was already dressed and ready.

"Ugh, fine. Dan come on get up!" I said, trying to get up. Dan groaned and yanked me back down. I sighed as he kissed the back of my neck. 

"Come on babe, get up." I coaxed. His arms retreated, and I got up. He rolled leisurely out of bed.

"I'm going to hop in the shower." I called. 

"Can I join you?" Dan asked, placing his hands on either side of my waist. Phil made a noise of disgust and I laughed.

"As much as I would like that I don't want to be late and out of energy for Vidcon" I said, winking.

As I entered the bathroom I heard Phil yell, "Get a room my God."

I took a shower getting dressed in black leggings, a black Panic!at the Disco sweater, and black converse. I pulled my hair in a pony tail, doing my make up, and Dan walked out of the bathroom smiling at me. I turned to grab my purse and turned back. Dan was directly in front of me, startling me, and pulled me into a long kiss. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Phil tapping his foot impatiently. As Dan had no intent of stopping soon, I pulled away and we smiled at each other. 

"Sorry Phil." I said gently pressing my fingers to my lips, wishing they were Dan's lips still.

"Frickin' lovebirds."

I laughed shoving him lightly and we made our way down to the taxi.

We walked up to the building and I paused my and on the doorknob of the back entrance. I was going to be meeting Joe, Casper, Zoe, and Dodie. Woah.

Dan opened the door for me and I followed Phil in.

"They will love you, I promise." Dan said sensing my nervousness. Like him, I was generally socially awkward. He had just managed to get by with his YouTube friends and fans. He was used to it.

I took his hand and he beamed at me. I smiled back and we made our way to a room towards the end of the hallway. I could hear the screaming fans through the walls, which made me kind of sick to my stomach. Phil opened the door and an array of voices greeted him followed by Dan. I entered and Chris came bounding up to me hugging me. 

"So I take it you made up huh?" Chris whispered.

Oh right, he hadn't heard from me since the initial break. Oops.

"Yeah, totally slipped my mind I meant to tell you." I said.

"As long as you are happy!" Chris said. He turned to go sit by PJ who waved to me as I stepped further into the room. I walked over to PJ who was talking to Chris, Joe and Casper.

"And who might this lovely lady be?" Casper asked looking at me. I felt a blush creep up on my cheeks.

"This is my sister, (y/n)." Chris replied smiling. 

"What? Someone that beautiful is related to you Chris?!" Joe joked and Chris punched him.

I giggled and PJ hugged me.

"Hey (y/n) how's it going?" PJ asked.

"Good, you?" 

"Awesome!"

"Good to hear." I said giggling once again.

"See, even her laugh is better than yours." Joe joked. 

"Honestly, (y/n) are you sure your related?" Casper asked slinging an arm around my shoulder.

I don't know whether to feel uncomfortable that he is so close or flattered that I fit in.

"Yes, I'm sure." I said laughing.

"I'll catch you guys later?" I asked and they nodded. I turned towards Dan, Phil and the girls and honestly I was just relieved Casper was off of me. Had they not seen the girlfriend tag? Probably not.

I greeted Dan silently and he slipped an arm around me pulling me close.

"Oh hey! You are Dan's girlfriend, (y/n), right? So nice to finally meet you!" Zoe said, as I took her outstretched hand to shake.

"The one and only! At least I hope I don't have a clone." I said. 

They laughed ad I shook Dodie's hand as well.

"You two are too cute together, my heart cant handle it!" Zoe squealed. My cheeks turned a shade of crimson and Dan smiled squeezing my side with him hand.

"Thanks! Although Zalfie is pretty hard to beat." I said.

"I don't know, my heart is about to explode if he looks at you like that one more time!" Zoe said.

This time Dan's face turned red.

"Oh really, look at me how?" I asked turning at him, smirking.

"Shut up" he said, rolling his eyes.

"Trust me, he was all over her this morning!" Phil commented.

"Shut up Phil!" Dan said pushing him. I laughed and took Dan's hand.

"So Phil and I are going to a meeting and greet and then a panel at 3. Meet us there?" Dan asked. I nodded and he kissed me on the cheek leaving with Phil.

"We have the same schedule, and the same panel, so we will see you there!" Dodie said, beckoning for Zoe to follow. They waved to me and I turned to see that Chris was gone and had been replaced with Tyler Oakley. PJ waved me over, all the boys turning to me. Tyler got up and hugged me, almost knocking me over. I had met him over skype and we chatted every once in a while.

"Hey, woah, Oakley, this isn't a football game!" I said.

"How are you? That must have been so hard! Did Chris invite you? Why would he do that? He knows Dan is here!" He rambled.

Whoops yet another person I forgot to update.

Damn it.

"Tyler, we are cool now, actually dating. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner!" I apologized.

"What?! Babe, you need to keep me posted!" He said.

"Jeez don't be a drama queen!" I said chuckling.

"Don't be who I am? That's kind of hard!" Tyler said. I laughed.

"Tell him what?" Joe asked.

Had he still not caught on?

"Dan and I broke up a while ago, it was my fault, because the fans hate me. Now we fixed everything." I explained.

"You're dating Dan?" Casper asked

I nodded.

"OTP" Tyler screamed. I shushed him and PJ called out too.

"I ship it, Canon!"

I laughed. 

Casper looked embarrassed and Joe looked sad. I couldn't help but feel bad.

"You want to hang with us and then Tyler and I can bring you to the panel?" PJ asked. I nodded and followed them out into the sea of people. This was going to be fun.
