Double Date

Woo! Inklings we are back again!

Dan's POV

"Let's go" 

We took a taxi down to a casual restaurant and the silent taxi driver waved us off. (y/n) climbed out laughing at something with Hazel. She waved her hand, mocking the driver and Hazel burst out into giggling. Phil smiles over at them and I nudge him on the shoulder. He blushes and I walk over to hold open the door for the ladies.

"Thank you kind gentleman" (y/n) said curtsying and I tipped an imaginary fedora. She laughed and I filed in after them. We were seated and ordered drinks.

"So, how did Vidcon go for you two?" Hazel asked as the waitress placed her wine in front of her.

"It was really awesome, right Dan?" Phil said excitedly. We chatted for a few minutes and the waitress too our order.

(y/n) scooted her chair closer to mine and grabbed my hand under the table.

"They are so adorable it's unbelievable!" (Y/n) whispered to me.

"I know they both like each other so much." I whispered back.

"I have to talk to Phil so you talk to Hazel for a bit until I get back." She said and she stood up. I nodded.

"Hey Phil can you help me for a sec?" (y/n) asked. Phil gave her a confused look but followed her outside.

Hazel turned her attention to me smiling.

"So do you like Phil?" I asked and her face turned red. Smooth Dan. Smooth.

"Uh yeah a little. I don't know." Hazel said looking down at her lap.

"I don't know if I should tell you this, but I think (y/n) is talking to him about him liking you right now." I said smiling at her.

"Really? He's so adorable."

"Yeah I can tell from the way he looks at you." I said. We chatted and Phil and (y/n) came back. Phil was beaming, his face a light shade of pink. He sat down and engaged in conversation with hazel. (y/n) looked flustered and confused. He hair was flung over her face and she brushed it to the side, stumbling over to us.

"What the hell happened to you?" I asked looking at her. She looked confused and slightly dizzy.

"so... I went over with Phil and said

"Hazel really like you you know" and he froze. And then he grasped me by the shoulder and shook me so hard I think my brain came out. He is really excited." she said placing her hand on her head.

I laughed kissing her forehead and we focused in on Phil and Hazel. I put my arm around her.

We finally finished dinner and headed at the restaurant. We were walking when (y/n) shook my arm violently, her eyes wide.

She pointed excitedly jumping up and down, trying to keep from squealing. I looked over to see Phil's fingers curled between Hazel's.

I smiled and grabbed her hand as well.

"I love you." I said looking over at her.

"I know." she said laughing.

"Star Wars? God you are perfect." I said and she kissed me on the cheek her lips warm against my skin.

Sorry this is so dang short. I am really busy this afternoon!
