[new year's eve 12: 02 am ]
Grey stared at his phone which was right beside him. It was weird considering the fact it was new year's and everyone aside from him was busy.
'Weird' he thought but went to grab his phone anyways.
He hesitantly picked it up and as he did he heard a sweet giggle.
"HEEEELLLOOOOO!"
"Um.. Hi?"
" Wow! You actually answered, so that means you aren't kissing anyone right?"
"Um, I'm sorry but who's calling?"
"I'm Midnight!"
"Wait, your name is-"
"Midnight!"
He looked at his phone even though he knew she couldn't see his reaction. He shook her weirdness off and placed his phone back into his ear.
"I'm sorry this might seem rude but... do I know you?"
"Nope!" She giggled.
"So... Why are you calling?"
"Oh! I just wanted to greet someone happy new year, so... Happy new year!"
"Thank you?"
"No problemõ! Happy new year stranger!"
Before he could reply she dropped the phone causing Grey to sigh.
"Happy new year too Midnight."
