"Ouch! Shit, Bucky." I mumbled sleepily, opening my eyes as I rubbed my leg. He had kicked me right in the shin. He called something out but it wasn't in English. It was in Russian, I think. My Russian was a little rusty so I didn't know what he was saying.

"Bucky?" I turned on the lamp beside me and looked over at him. I happened to glance at the alarm clock that rested on his side of the bed. It was 3:17a.m. The blankets were completely pushed off of him and he was curled up in the tightest ball he could get his large self into. I sat up then reached over to put my hand on his arm but his left hand grabbed my wrist at lightening speed. His grip was tight and unforgiving.

"Bucky." I winced, trying to pull away as he sat up. "It's just me."

His hair fell in every direction and covered his eyes, preventing me from seeing them. With one swift jerking motion, I was thrown across the room and into the wall.

"Son of a bitch." I panted, cradling my arm close to my body. He began to advance towards me, his jaw set and his fists curled up into tight balls. "Bucky! It's me!" I shouted in an attempt to get him to come to reality. "I'm Widia. Bucky, you're in there and I know you're trying to fight him—,"

Bucky used his right hand to grab me by the neck and he tried to pull me up from the ground. I desperately needed to get Bucky back before something happened and I wouldn't be able to protect Sadie, Jeremiah, and their baby.

"I'm-I'm sorry." I choked out just before delivering a heavy kick to his stomach. It barely fazed him and I think it only made him more angry. "Bucky, please!" I tried to pry his fingers from around my neck, using my nails to dig into his skin. "Think-Think about the baby!"

Something cold hit my temple, causing my to see white. I was slammed against the wall. I went limp and I everything became silent.

I found myself laying on the floor of the bedroom. I was alone and Bucky was nowhere in sight. I stood up, putting my hand against the wall for support. The alarm clock by the bed read 3:32a.m. Panic set in when I realized I had been out for nearly fifteen minutes.

What if something happened to Sadie? I grabbed the pistol I kept underneath my side of the bed and then took off for the stairs that went to the main floor.

"Sadie! Jeremiah!" I shouted their names as I went up the second flight of steps, the ones that would take me to the second floor with their room on it.

"Widia? What's wrong?" Jeremiah asked. He was sitting up in the bed by the time I bursted into the room.

"Are you two okay?" I went to Sadie's side of the bed. She hadn't even woken up yet.

"What the hell are you doing with a gun, Widia?" Jeremiah turned on the light while I checked on Sadie.

"It's okay." I assured Jeremiah as Sadie woke up.

"What's going on?" She mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "Why are you bleeding?"

"I-I need you guys to keep yourselves locked in here. Do you understand?" I told her as I handed the gun to Jeremiah. He took it but I had a hard time letting it go. Giving it to him meant giving him the okay to potentially put Bucky down.

"What the hell's going on, Widia?" Jeremiah demanded, eyes falling to the gun.

"Bucky had a bad dream and-and he's not himself right now." I whispered, hands trembling as I went over to the bedroom window to look out of it. The moon wasn't shining very much.

"Is he dangerous?" Sadie asked. "He hurt you."

"Yes.... Just...." I brought my hand up to my mouth as I thought of what to do. "I-I have to-I need to find him."
