"Widia! Tell Angel she can't just take other people's shit out of the fridge!"
"You left it in there so it's fair game!"
"If someone puts something into the refrigerator with their name on it, they should be able to come back to it later to eat it!"
"Widia!" Angel and Downing both yelled my name as they stopped in front of the sofa where I sat. I was in the living room, looking through a magazine while everyone else did their own thing. Our next mission wasn't for another two days so we were catching up on some much needed rest and leisure time.
"What happened?" I sighed out as I put the magazine down on my stomach and put my head back against Riggs's shoulder.
"I went out and got Chinese earlier when everyone else got Thai and Angel freakin ate it!"
"Did you have your name on it?" I questioned with raised brows.
"Yes!"
"Was it in the kitchen down here or upstairs?" Riggs asked.
"Down here. But that's not—,"
"Down here is fair game for anyone, Downing." I cut him off, picking my magazine back up. "We've already established this. That's why we put two mini-refrigerators upstairs. Those ones are for private stashes."
"But she can't just steal people's food like that!" Downing grumbled, kicking at nothing as he stomped away frustratedly.
"Angel." I sighed her name as our eyes met.
"I did it to make him mad on purpose." She rolled her blue eyes, her voice laced with an Italian accent. "Later on tonight, we're going to—,"
"I really do not need to know any details, Angel, sweetheart." Riggs quickly stopped her. "I'm begging you."
"Your loss."
"Whatever you two do, Angel, keep it confined to the bedroom." I told her. "He doesn't like when people mess with his food and he always comes after me first to back him up."
"Yes, ma'am."
"They're both like three year olds." Riggs muttered as he took the magazine from me and stared to flip through it. I put my head into his lap and gazed up at him while his beautiful, crystal blue eyes took in the photos.
"What are the boys up to?" I asked, reaching up to brush my fingertips over his jaw and down to his lips, where he playfully tried to bite my fingers. I giggled softly and let my hand fall to my chest.
"I think they were messing in the garage with Lee. I just hope they don't blow it up like they did a few weeks ago."
"That was a mess."
"Ooh, Widdy. Why don't you ever wear silk like this?" Riggs showed me a picture of a beautiful dark skinned woman wearing dark blue silk lingerie.
"I don't like silk. I'm a lace woman."
"You could pull off silk. You could wear anything."
"Silk makes me feel old. I'm not old yet." I sat up and moved to face him, curling my knees to my chest as I faced the back of the couch as well as Riggs.
"Joey wants us to come visit him soon." He said as he put the magazine aside and leaned forward to kiss my lips.
"We can make arrangements. We'll take a few days off and let everyone have a break."
