I forgot my gloves. The new ones feel different but are literally the exact same.
We had fun, though. The first thing I noticed as we got to our bleachers was that the opposing band was smaller than ours, they had four drum majors rather than three, and all four were wearing CAPES. Yes, you read right. CAPES. I laughed for forever.
I screamed my lungs out. The other band stole Jackson. Amber got a nosebleed. Parker screwed the contest show up. The football team lost by one point. A random piece of music sat directly on the Side 2 28 yard line for half the game. We played Wrecking Crew. The tunas played the Hokey Pokey for our band and the Price Is Right 'you screwed up' noise to the opposing team. I didn't completely butcher the spirit show. It was great.
