   " You really don't understand!? I don't care! I told you her name a dozen times, now find her. Or the girl dies. "

Shawn's POV:

Since the call, I couldn't even think of sleeping. I could barely think about anything else but Katherine. Millions of questions ran through my mind, millions of ideas, thoughts... millions of feelings mixed inside of me, but I felt empty. I didn't know how that was possible, but it was. Without her nothing seemed real anymore, nothing seemed possible... I fought my thoughts long enough that I actually started feeling tired. But I couldn't let myself fall asleep, I just couldn't. What if that maniac calls again? Maybe then he'll finally say what he wants so he lets Katherine go and we continue living our lives like nothing happened. In this case, falling asleep felt like giving up the only chance I could get. 

 Katherine's POV: 

 I tried to untie my arms, but every try was more hopeless than previous one. I watched a lot of movies about situations similar like mine and people actually succeeded in this, so I wanted to give it a try. But I'm not in a movie and I suck at untying knots. I stared at the same spot for a long time, I started feeling dizzy so I shook my head and took a deep breath. I've already started losing hope that Shawn will find me, how could he? He doesn't know where I am or who is this guy... he doesn't know anything.And then I heard something. Besides annoying honking coming from outside that window. Jesus, that was loud.But I wasn't talking about honking, I was talking about a voice. The voice was coming from a direction where I thought that door was. And once again I was right. I somehow started moving my body toward that direction, but not too close, so I could get back to "my corner" before they catch me. The conversation was still going on.

 " No, you don't get it. You bring her back to me or you'll never see your girl again. "

 I felt my heart beating faster and I couldn't breathe for a couple of seconds. It must be it. He's talking to Shawn.I leaned in closer, so I could hear better. 

 " You really don't understand!? I don't care! I told you her name a dozen times, now find her. Or the girl dies. " 

 I felt the chills running down my spine and everything became silent. I couldn't think of anything, I couldn't hear or say anything. The tiles started spinning around, the whole room started spinning around along with them. I closed my eyes and tried to remain calm. Quietly and fastly, I got back to the corner I was in and tried to process his words." Or the girl dies " 

That sentence was all that I could think of, the only thing that was on my mind, circling around and running between every other thought I tried to think instead. Nothing worked. I was trapped. Not only here, but also in my mind. That's when I heard the door opening. Tall figure was standing in front of me, then he turned around. I knew it was him. I could sense it.

 " How... how did that happen? " 

 He turned back to me and gave me a puzzled look. I decided to break the ice and I still had some hope left in me that Shawn still hasn't given up on me, so I thought that stalling Brian could help him. 

 " Oh, c'mon I know that Shawn stole your girlfriend. I knew it all along. "

 " You're amazingly smart. But, why would I tell you a single thing? "

 " We both know that I'm not getting out of here soon, so why not? "

He shook his head no, but I continued asking him and in the end, he gave up trying to ignore me.

 " Okay, girl, you wanna know what happened? She was a fan of your guy and I was okay with that, because I knew what it was like to have a favorite singer. "

 " Ohh, who's your favorite singer? " 

 " Lady Gaga. Now let me continue. " 

 I nodded in approval and he continued. 

 " So yeah, she was a fan of his and when he came to our city, I took her to his concert. What I didn't know was that she was THAT crazy for him... "

 " No way.. " 

 " Yes, she left me for him. "

I actually felt a little sorry for him and then I remembered that he wants to kill me. So I played along and he opened up even more. He poured his heart out to me about that girl and how loving and nice was their relationship and I had to act interested and like I'm sorry, but I couldn't care less. I just wanted this sick game to finally end.

" I'm really sorry. "

" Yeah, and you know what? "

" What? "

" I'm so lucky you know? "

" Lucky? Because you caught me? "

" Because you were there then. "

" What are you talking about? "

" The concert night. That was all a plan. The plan was to act like I don't know Shawn and to get his attention by attacking one of his fans. I'm lucky that I attacked you then because, thanks to Chris, I found out that Shawn loves you. "

I just stared at him and I couldn't believe.

" And the messages too. " 

Wait, he was the unknown person? How could I be that stupid?

" Shawn got it but you... I could knew that you'll think that some of his fans are sending you that messages. He got it but he did nothing about it." 

" You liar! " I shouted. It wasn't safe to be angry when he's near me but he pissed me out. " He would tell me if something like that happened! "

" He wouldn't. Did he tell you about your first ' date ' night? Did he tell you about how I was there before you came? He didn't. Think about it. "

Actually when he said ' think about it ' i remembered that when I mentioned Brian to Shawn I could see that he was weird.

" Why didn't he tell me? " I whispered and my tears started running down my face again. 

" Does it matter now? If he doesn't give me what i want you'll be dead which means If he really loves you he will do everything I want from him. "

" You won't hurt me, we both know that. "  I told him that but there was a question in my head after that ' Will he?? '
