It's different now
We both know why
No more hiding
Behind shades & facades
It makes the truth so cloudy anyway
Let's make the transition easy
Just walk away
Remember all the aches and pains
To only multiply the reasons
Of why this is no longer needed
Oh but the smile
Wanting to hold all the good
And seep the goo of it through the fingers
But it's different now
And the taste of us is sour
Our smell together is annoying
And our goals and focus are changing
We knew each other once
But it's different now
