'Lola?' I lowered the gun and took a step forward as she took a step back.

'What the hell man' Zayn asked, signalling the fact I had dropped my gun from Lola's body. He still didn't remove his gaze from a shaking Sophia though, her eyes still wide from the sudden attack.

'Are you going to tell us where Jake is then' Zayn asked her, tilting his head slightly sideways and walking closer to her, she couldn't step back any further as a tree blocked her path.

'I-I dont know where he is' She stuttered. Zayn lunged for her body and held her tightly, pressing the tip of the gun to her temple.

'What about you Lolita?' He smirked at her. 'C'mon Haz, you used to love a good game' he chuckled. I couldn't lose my reputation, I lunged for Lola and held her tightly, she screamed and I had to cover her mouth with my large hand, her cries were muffled.

'I promise you, we don't know where he is!' Lola Shouted as soon as I took my hands away from her mouth. I was certainly regretting running after them both considering i know for a fact that they're both innocent in this situation, but I couldn't go as far as to say Zayn agreed with me, in fact he seemed to be loving this-this was his scene afterall. I was still trying to get my head around the fact that Lola was in the gang I had been planning to end for months now. Did she know I was coming? What does Jake even want with her? What was there plan in the first place? Has she ever even been in a gang before?

I had so many questions I wanted to ask her, yet none seemed to get passed .my lips. The white, boring sky had recently turned a dark shade of grey and I knew that any minute we could be drenched in rain. After a few seconds of thought, I finally sighed, letting go of Lola.

'Zayn come on, they obviously don't know anything' I walked up to him, trying to pry his hands off of Sophia before giving her an apologetic look, in which she just nodded and stumbled over to Lola.

'Harry, what are you doing? This is our chance to get what you've wanted for the past 6 months! And you're just going to throw it away just like that!' He shouts, waving his arms around in front of him.

'Zayn mate come on, they're innocent' I rested my hand on his shoulder and gave him a small nod, in which he returned before sighing and agreeing. I could tell this conversation wouldn't end here though, I was surely going to get an earful once we left. 'You go on, I just want to talk to Lola for a sec' He hesitantly nodded before trudging out of the muddy grass surrounded by trees and bushes.

I turned back around to see Lola stood there, I quickly took in her appearance. Her tanned skin looked airbrushed in the wind. Her dark hair panned out across her shoulders, reaching her belly button. She was dressed in skinny Jeans and muddy converse, and her oversized blue sweater clung to her body for dear life, the hood was still down and I was silently praying she wasn't going to put it back up any time soon because with it down I can see the mysterious brown in her eyes with a hint of a grey ring around the pupils.

By now, Sophia had gotten the hint and she turned to leave, both myself and Lola both breathily laughed as we watch her walk in the opposite direction to Zayn, I don't really blame her!

'Lola i'm sor-' I began.

'No Harry, sometimes I can be too stubborn for my own good, and I guess it's okay for people to put me back in my place from time to time' We both laughed before she carried on. 'But maybe shoving me up against the wall wasn't the best path to take!' She joked, I could see a glint of what looked like happiness in her eyes, something I had never experienced with her before, and it made me smile.

'I'll be sure to handle it better next time' I smiled, looking down at my fidgeting feet.

'Next time?' She asked, taking a step closer to me and looking in my eyes, now only a few feet away from each others embraces.

'Yeah' I smiled 'Next time. You didn't really think that because we had a stupid argument that I was going to stop wanting to talk to you, did you?' I ask. In the begining of the sentence it came out as a joke, but towards the end, I furrowed my eyebrows, did she really think that was it?

She shook her head quickly, lips pressed together in a smile.

'And I guess we both have alot of questions to ask and answer about what just happened' She spoke again. Fiddeling with her finger tips.

'Yeah' I agreed, sighing loudly. 'But for now, can we just call it a day?' I ask.

'Happily' She smiled.

'Do you want to grab a bite to eat' I ask, not really sure where this was heading, but whats the hurt in trying.

'Sounds good' She nods. 'Um can I meet you there though? I think it's a bit unfair for me to just ditch Sophia'

'Of course, meet at the diner in town in an hour okay?'

'Okay' We exchange smiles before I walk out of the trees to see Zayn sat on a rock, by the way he looked at me I could tell he'd heard some of our conversation, if not all of it.

'Nice going lad' He patted my back and we began to walk out of the field. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. 'You're getting her to go on a date with you! Looks like marie's number is yours then!'

The realisation hit me like a ton of bricks. No, I didn't mean that! I actually completely forgot about it. 'well thats my plan' I laugh, trying to hide my uncertainty and the guilt forming in my stomach.

'Just a meal, and this bad boys yours' He jokes, pointing his index finger to Maries name and number on his phone screen.

'Can't wait' I fake a smile.
