Lola's POV

"He's in love with a dead girl"

Her eyes widen at what I say but they soon go back to normal size and she nods slightly.

"I'm such an idiot" I laugh humourlessly to myself and she shakes her head.

"No, no you're not. You just fell in love!" She tries to explain but no matter what she says, i'm still going to feel the same.

"Um I know that there's pizza that should be here soon but I've kind of lost my appetite and i'm tired. I can give you the money to make up for it though?" I ask, standing up from the sofa and rubbing my tired eyes.

"No don't be silly! My mum will probably eat it when she gets back from her night out. Just go get into bed and I'll come up once the pizza's been ordered" She explains and I nod, and am suddenly pulled into a bone crushing hug.

"I love you okay" She whispers and I bury my head in her neck.

"I love you Soph, and thank you for everything" I say and she nods, I pull away and begin to make my way up to her bedroom. Ignoring all the messages, missed calls and voicemails from Harry and turning my phone off.

Harry's POV

Dead, that's how I feel. Right now I am sat on the front step of her house, waiting for her to return home. I have to see her, I need to see her. She is my drug, and it's like I have gone cold turkey. I've been with her for this long now, that it's like when she's gone, I'm empty, I probably look like some drunk homeless guy - and I guess that's true. I am drunk, and this is my home. I stupidly left my keys at the party somewhere when I was taking my jeans off (yes I know i'm a dick). I unlock my phone that lays beside me and I see that it's 11 am, she's been gone for the whole night, and i've been here, waiting for her to return, calling her non stop. I have to explain everything to her. My head rests against the front door for a while until I hear a car door slam shut, and she's stood there, looking effortlessly beautiful, in her leggings and a dark green baggy top that reaches her midthighs, her hair looks matted and knotted as it hangs over her shoulders, and her face looks lifeless. She doesn't even look surprised to see me here. She quickly turns and I'm quick to stand and prepare to run after her but I watch in awe as she waves goodbye to the person in the car. I can see Sophia in the back seat so i'm guessing her mum drove her here. I wait patiently as she walks up to the front door, walking straight past me without a second glance. Her fingers fumble with the key in the lock and she finally opens it, I follow her inside and she shuts it behind me.

"D-do you want a drink or are you just here to collect your stuff?" She mumbles and her voice cracks half way through. My insides break when she says I have to collect my stuff, I guess we are over then. I sigh.

"A glass of water please" I say politely and she nods, stepping over the broken glass on the kitchen floor, I want to stab myself over and over again considering i'm the one that made this mess.

"I can clear this up" I say, walking over to the cupboard that holds all the cleaning appliances but she runs to me and places her arm on my bicep. My head snaps towards her due to her gesture towards me, she moves her hand away as quickly as it appeared.

"No, it's fine" She says, opening the cupboard herself and grabbing the dustpan and brush. "Um here's your water" She says, reaching for the glass and passing it to me.

"Uh thanks" I say. "Listen Lola, can we talk-" I begin but i'm soon cut short.

"There's nothing to say" She says bluntly, bending down and begining to sweep up all the glass. I flinch as I watch her touch a piece of glass, scared she'll cut herself. She sighs, pausing momentarily before looking up at me. "You can go and pack your stuff" She orders but I shake my head.
