Aomine sat down in the chair opposite Kagami.  He leaned back, one foot up to rest on his opposite knee.  Kagami swallowed, Aomine looked so perfectly calm, and he was nowhere near being calm.

He looked down at the papers in his hands and shuffled them around so his notebook was on top and the questions were sticking up behind it.  His pen was shaking in his hand.  Kagami didn't know how he was going to survive this.

"You're the youngest CEO in Tokyo," he kept his head down, he couldn't bring himself to even look at Aomine, "To what... To what do you owe your success?"

Aomine sat there for a moment before answering.  Kagami could feel Aomine's navy blue eyes boring into him.  "I'd say I have a good judge of people.  The key to my success is seeing the potential in people and making them realize it."

"You sound like you like to always be in control," Kagami bit his lip right after the words left his mouth.  He hadn't meant to sound so snarky.  He just hoped Aomine wouldn't get mad with him over it.

"I exercise control in all things, Kagami-san."  Aomine's voice was completely steady, his eyes never leaving Kagami.

Kagami could feel his face beating up.  He didn't know why he was getting so flustered, but he just couldn't stop himself.  He swallowed a couple times, trying to force words out as he read from the paper, "What kind of humanitarian causes does your company support?"

"We support a lot of things," Aomine's response was much shorter and faster than all his others, making Kagami look up at him.  There didn't seem to be a change in Aomine's expression, but something felt different, felt off.

"I-it's just... you don't seem to support any particular cause for any media purpose," Kagami quickly looked back down at his papers, fumbling over his words, "I thought maybe you're actually passionate about it, and have a big heart and don't want the media to spoil it."

Aomine paused again in his response.  Kagami glanced up to see Aomine smirk and shrug, "Some say I don't have a heart."

Kagami's brow furrowed.  He tilted his head to the side as he asked, "Why?"

"Because they know me," Aomine laughed, leaning back in his chair.  Aomine's laugh was deep and loud and filled the whole room.  It even sent a tingling sensation down Kagami's spine and he couldn't really even say why.  But he liked it.  He liked hearing Aomine laugh.

"Umm... do you have any interests outside of work?"  Kagami felt a little awkward going right into his next question, but he had no idea of how to reply to what Aomine said.

"I play sports, I go out," Aomine's answer was clipped and Kagami could tell he was annoyed.  Aomine narrowed his eyes at Kagami, "Are these really the questions you want to be asking?"

"Umm..." Kagami shrugged, staring down at his papers.  He just couldn't bring himself to look into Aomine's eyes.  "I'm not supposed to be the one doing this interview," Kagami let out a sad laugh, keeping his head down, "I'm just filling in for a friend and these are the questions he gave me."

"How about I ask you a couple questions," Aomine smiled, leaning forward in his chair, "What about you?  I'd like to know more about you."

Kagami's head instantly shot up, eyes meeting Aomine's.  He swallowed, blushing heavily.  He didn't want to be this flustered, it made him even more embarrassed.  A hesitant smile set on Kagami's face as he let out a small laugh, "There's really not much to know about me."  Kagami laughed more at himself, gesturing to the way he was dressed and so out of place in this corporate world, "I mean, look at me."

"I am."

[AN: alrighty, what're you thinking so far?? Liking it?? I just can't resist a blushing Kagami! Sorry Kagami, but you're cute when you blush xD and of course Aomine has to see it that way ;) I hope you liked this chapter, the interview will be over soon, I swear!]
