The ride down to the ground floor of the building felt like it took forever. Especially when other people kept coming into the elevator to get off at different floors. Everyone that walked in looked at Kagami with a strange, almost accusing look. Kagami did his best to ignore them and keep looking down at his papers. He wasn't even sure he had anything good to give Kuroko for the article.

As soon as the doors opened on the ground floor, Kagami bolted out of the elevator. He could feel more eyes on him, but he just wanted to get out of the building as fast as he could. He was sure that Aomine would be glad to never see him again.

Once out of the building, he practically ran back to his and Kuroko's apartment. He quickly went inside, shutting the door behind him. He tried to take a deep breath. There was no reason to be so upset, nervous, or whatever it was he was feeling.

He walked further inside, throwing the papers on the couch and went right to his room. He wanted to curl up and die. It wasn't even that the interview had been so terrible, he just hated how he completely embarrassed himself in front of the most high profile person in Tokyo.

He heard the front door creak as it opened. Kuroko was back. He took a breath, thinking that he'd get up and go out there to debrief with Kuroko about the interview. But he just couldn't get himself to get off his bed.
