Kagami just got up from his desk as class finished when he felt a buzzing in his pocket.  He took out his phone.  Kuroko was calling him.  He let out a long sigh, he'd kind of avoided talking to Kuroko since telling him about how the interview went.  He didn't want to think about it again.  It wasn't like he'd ever get to see Aomine again.  Still, he answered the phone.  "What is it, Kuroko?"

"Good news, Kagami-kun!"  Kuroko actually sounded excited as he spoke, "I spoke with Momoi-san about getting some photos for the article and she said that Aomine-san agreed to do it!"

Kagami pulled his phone away from his ear to check if the call was real and he wasn't just imagining this.  "I don't believe it, why would he?"

"Just be happy, Kagami-kun," Kuroko added, annoyance edging his voice.

"Yeah, well," Kagami wasn't sure he actually wanted to see Aomine again, he didn't want to behave like a fool again, "Have fun with the photoshoot, I'm sure you set it up at a time you can actually make this time."

"That won't work," Kuroko insisted, "You have to be there.  I thought you would want to be there anyway?"

Kagami stiffened at Kuroko's words.  Of course there was a part of him that wanted nothing more than to see more of Aomine.  But after the way he acted?  And there was no way he could admit to Kuroko how much he was into the guy.  He shook his head.  "And what if I don't want to be?"

"You have to be, otherwise he won't do it," Kuroko said so matter-of-factly.

"What?"  Kagami couldn't help his voice raising a pitch.

Kuroko continued evenly, "Momoi-san said he asked for you specifically.  If you're not there, he won't do it."

Kagami didn't believe it.  Aomine actually asked that he be there?  It was too unreal.  But what was he supposed to say?  He couldn't say no, not if Aomine actually wanted to see him too.  He was quiet for a long moment before letting out a breath.  "Fine.  When is it?"

"Friday."  Kagami could practically hear the smile in Kuroko's voice.  Kuroko didn't wait for Kagami to say anything else, he just hung up.  Kagami cursed under his breath, putting his phone away.  He hated to admit it, but he was so glad he'd get to see Aomine again.  But this time, he had to act better, he wouldn't be so intimidated again.
