Kagami stared back at Aomine for a minute after Aomine's words left his lips. He swallowed and opened and closed his mouth a couple times. He just felt like Aomine was trying to be polite and act interested. There was no way Kagami was good enough to deserve to be known. Aomine had such great success and anything he wanted. No reason he would want Kagami. Kagami swallowed, letting out a breath and dropping his gaze to his notes again. Kuroko would kill him if he didn't get all or at least most of the questions answered. "Umm," Kagami bit his lip, silently cursing himself for saying umm, "Do you have anyone significant in your life? Last month you were photographed with 12 different women."
Aomine just stared back at Kagami for a moment, studying Kagami's face. Kagami blushed, keeping his head down and looking over the papers, "Sorry, my friend who wrote the questions can be quite blunt with his questions." Though Kagami neglected to mention that the second part of the question was something he added.
Aomine kept looking at him, keeping his voice steady, "No, Kagami-san, there's no one significant in my life." Aomine uncrossed his leg, leaning forward in the chair, smirking ever so slightly as he asked, "And you? You're a college student, surely you know what it is to have fun or someone significant."
"Umm," Kagami swallowed, wishing he would get over being so nervous. He shook his head, glancing up at Aomine, "No, my studies take up all my time."
"What a shame," Aomine smiled as he said it, but it was a small smile and only there for a second.
Honestly, Kagami wasn't sure what to make of the expression. He looked back down at his papers, shrugging again, "Like I said, there's really not much to know about me."
[AN: I hope you're liking this~! 😊 the interview is going to end soon and then there'll be some fun stuff and then Aomine and Kagami might get together 😉 bear with me here! 😁]
