Kagami kept talking to Kise as they walked. Even Kise was a little surprised that Kagami was still standing next to him. He didn't say anything about it though.
They all stopped at the end of the hotel where there were some nice backdrops and tables and chairs. Kise immediately stopped and turned to face Aomine, directing him on where and how to stand.
Kagami stood back, watching the scene unfold. He still didn't understand why he was here. He had no part in taking the photos, he was merely here on Aomine's request. That was another thing that he didn't understand. Did Aomine really ask for him or was that just something Kuroko said to get him to come? All of this was just getting on his nerves now.
He sat back and watched Kise get a ton of photos. He was surprised at Aomine's patience and cooperation with the blonde. But he had to admit, Aomine looked so fine in his suit, sitting in such an elegant location. And here he was, looking like trash in his hoodie and jeans. Aomine was so out of his league no matter what Kuroko was trying to do.
Kagami hardly notice when Kise stopped taking photos. He was leaning back against the wall, daydreaming with his eyes open about the handsome Aomine. He was snapped out of his thoughts when someone stepped in front of him and blocked the light. He blinked, forcing his eyes to adjust. He gulped, looking up into intense, navy blue eyes. His voice came out as barely a sound, "Aomine..."
"I wasn't sure you would come." Aomine's tone was flat as he spoke.
"Well, I..." Kagami trailed off, he didn't know what to say. Not that Aomine gave him much of a chance.
"After this," Aomine continued, ignoring Kagami's stuttering, "We're getting coffee."
"O-okay..." Kagami nodded, though he wasn't sure what he had just agreed to. Was Aomine leaving to get coffee with Momoi? Or was that Aomine's way of asking him out to coffee.
Aomine didn't stop staring at him, even when Kuroko and Kise walked up. Kagami shifted his gaze to his friends, but they didn't seem to notice anything strange. Kise smiled, "Thank you so much for your time, Aominecchi! I think I have just enough photos now!"
A devilish grin spread over Aomine's face, only long enough for Kagami to see. Aomine spoke smoothly, "Good. Let's go."
Kagami stood up, he felt how commanding Aomine's words were. With Aomine's eyes on him, it was impossible to ignore Aomine regardless of whether the words were meant for him.
Aomine only stopped looking at Kagami when he turned to walk away, Kagami trailing after him. Kise called out, "Kagamicchi! Where are you going?"
Kagami turned back to Kise and shrugged, choking out the word, "Coffee?" He glanced behind him to see that Aomine was already several steps away. He turned and quickly jogged a few steps to catch up to him. Aomine was looking straight ahead, but he could see a smile on the tanned male's face.
