Kagami had just left his apartment and walked downstairs. Aomine had sent a car and driver to pick him up. A part of him wondered if it was a good idea, but he had to see where this would go with Aomine. It was too... alluring.
Kagami was quiet the whole drive, it wasn't terribly long, but it felt like ages. What should he say? Aomine wasn't in the car, it was just him and the driver. Besides, his throat was totally dry. The nerves were creeping up on him again. He did his best to remember that hot, passionate kiss that they had shared in the elevator this morning. Aomine wouldn't be going to all of this trouble if he didn't like him, right?
The driver finally stopped in the garage of Aomine's building. He opened the door for Kagami. Kagami took a deep breath and stepped out of the car and walked up to the elevator. It took him all the way up to the top floor. The doors didn't even open to a hallway, just opened directly into the penthouse.
"You're here." Aomine smirked as he walked up. He looked right into Kagami's eyes and his heart melted.
"Did you think I would't come?" Kagami couldn't stop his cheeky response. He stepped closer to Aomine, his heart racing as he hoped for a kiss like this morning.
But no kiss came. Aomine hovered near Kagami, poised to lean in. He stepped back and turned his back. "I have something for you." He walked to the table where a yellow folder was sitting.
"Oh?" Kagami smiled, though he didn't need anything and anything in a folder like that didn't seem like a gift.
Aomine pulled out one of the papers as Kagami walked up. "I need you to sign this." Kagami took the paper, furrowing his brow. "It just says that you won't talk about what we do together with anyone else."
Kagami looked up at him. "Who would I tell?"
"It's important." Aomine held a pen out to him.
Kagami stared at the pen for a moment before taking it. "Will we be able to be together after this?"
Aomine nodded with a smirk. "If that's what you want."
"I do." Kagami looked into Aomine's eyes, they were so intense. He leaned over the table and signed the non-disclosure agreement. "Can we..."
"I have a few other things to show you first." Aomine took the NDA and slipped it back into the folder. He gestured for Kagami to follow him. They walked up a staircase inside the penthouse. Kagami couldn't fathom how big this penthouse was. Aomine led him down the hall, keys in hand, to a locked door. He stopped in front of the door and looked back at Kagami. "Are you ready?"
Kagami nodded.
"It's okay if you want to back out." Aomine furrowed his brow.
Kagami gently took Aomine's hand. "Show me."
Aomine looked at their hands for a moment before pulling his hand away. He put the key in the lock and opened the door.
