"Kagami-kun?"  Kagami heard Kuroko calling him.  He wasn't ready to debrief on the interview.  He didn't want to get up.  But he knew that if he didn't, Kuroko would come into his room and Kagami didn't want that.  Kuroko was his best friend, but for someone so soft spoken, Kuroko could be quite pushy.

Kagami forced himself to roll off his bed and stand up.  He walked into the living room.  Kuroko was sitting on the couch, the papers from the interview in his hands.  Kagami let out a sigh and went to sit next to Kuroko.

"How'd it go?"  Kuroko looked up at Kagami with large, unblinking eyes.

"It was fine..." Kagami shrugged.  He didn't want to tell Kuroko how he lost control of the interview.  "Do you have enough notes for writing the article?"

Kuroko took a minute to read and shuffle through the papers.  After a minute, he said, "Well the notes aren't important."

Kagami knew that was code for there not being nearly enough notes for a decent article.  Kagami felt bad, but if Kuroko expected a certain standard of results, he should've done it himself.  Though after Kagami tried to picture Kuroko in Aomine's office, he couldn't help the nasty feeling he got in his gut.  Even though it went horribly and he was a complete fool in front of Aomine, he didn't want Kuroko to have been the one to talk to him.  This was crazy, he was jealous when he had absolutely no reason to be.  He wasn't going to see Aomine again, so what did it matter?

Kuroko stared at Kagami, smiling ever so slightly.  "So?  What was he like?"

"He was..."  Kagami avoided Kuroko's gaze, he was too embarrassed to tell Kuroko about it.  But he could feel Kuroko's relentless gaze on him and knew Kuroko wasn't going to give up.  "Polite, smart, really intimidating..."  He felt so weak for describing another guy as intimidating.  But that was how it felt during that interview.  He felt like he was the one being interviewed instead of the one leading the interview.

"You like him, don't you?"

"W-what?!"  Kagami jumped, moving away from Kuroko.  He couldn't even look at Kuroko.  But he knew Kuroko was right.  The part Kagami didn't say out loud was how sexy Aomine was.  Of course he was into him.  Perfect body combined with the austere attitude, Kagami was a sucker for Aomine.  But Kagami shook his head, "No, it's crazy to like someone I'll never see again."

"Maybe you can," Kuroko moved closer to Kagami, his voice sounding excited, "Maybe we could have him come out and do a photoshoot so we have a visual to go with the article."

Kagami shook his head, "He is super busy.  I doubt he'd make time for us."

"He did once."

"Yeah, and I acted like a complete rube," Kagami scrunched his shoulders together.

"Maybe he will make time for you again," Kuroko insisted, smiling.  Kagami let out a long breath, looking back at him.  He wondered if there was something Kuroko wasn't telling him.

[AN: I hope you liked this update! I promise some AoKaga feels are coming! Ironically, this is the most slow-burning, slow-build up AoKaga story I've written 😆 and it's supposed to be a 50 shades parody... what does that say about my other fics? 😂 oh well, I hope you like them! 😊]
