'' Hold my legs, I'm almost there! ''

Baekhyun and I got ourselves locked in the archive room by a random stranger, but we weren't going to let that stop us. Well, I was actually ready to give up, because no one ever really came down here and I was dramatically crying about how we were going to die down here until he suddenly saw something and got an idea. There was a window above the door of the archive room and he was certain that I could fit through it. That was how I found myself standing on his shoulders and climbing through it.

'' That is not my legs, Baekhyun-sshi! ''

'' My bad, '' he murmured in response and quickly removed his hands.

I rolled my eyes, pushed the old window open and climbed through it. I nearly ended up falling and landing on my face on the other side of it, but I barely managed to hold on to the edge of it and crash on my back instead. I groaned in pain and stared at the ceiling above me, before letting out a breath and pushing myself on my feet again. I unlocked the door of the archive room and nearly got knocked on the ground again by Baekhyun that came running from the other side.

'' I'm fine, thanks for asking, '' I seriously said, sighed and ran after him.

The police station was even more chaotic than usually. It turned out the stranger that locked Baekhyun and I in the archive room went upstairs to the laboratory after that. He pretended to be the one that came to fix Hye-rin's air conditioning so that she let him inside the room, then he held her at gunpoint and forced her to give him the paper that she found in the contract killer's stomach. He managed to get out of the building before she could call for help and now everyone was working on saving the situation.

We had no idea who the stranger was, but it was clear that he was somehow connected to the case. Baekhyun, who came face to face with the runaway criminal Taeshik once in his life, confirmed that there was no way it could be him, while Hye-rin also couldn't give a good description of him because of the surgical mask and hat he used to conceal his identity. Now we were left wondering who he could possibly be and the worst thing of all was that he managed to steal one of our best leads. None of us had any ideas about what could the paper found in our victim's stomach be and we were all shocked when Hye-rin told us it was a simple word.

Yellow.

The letters were shaky and she believed that the victim wasn't able to finish writing what she wanted. That gave us nothing but a colour and no idea on how to figure out what it meant.

We spent the rest of the day working, but we were all on edge. We figured out that someone had to be listening to the chief's phone, because that was the only way the stranger that got in the building could know about the broken air conditioning in Hye-rin's laboratory. Now everyone felt like they were being watched the whole time, but we still managed to pull through.

Hye-rin was being held at gunpoint just a moment ago and yet she spent the rest of the day trying to get the lab results from the bodies of all of Kwan Taeshik's victims. Sehun, Jongdae and Xiumin went over all of the old information that the investigators working on this case gathered in the past. Sadly there was nothing useful because they didn't look into him and his past after he randomly showed up and confessed to the murders. All they had was different leads that the investigators tried to follow, but without much luck. Baekhyun and I ended up watching the tape of his confession to learn more about him and his behaviour.

It was already way past ten at night when the team leader instructed us to go home. Sehun grinned and said: '' You don't have to tell me twice. ''

'' Anyone hungry?  '' Hye-rin spoke up and closed the medical reports she was reading. '' Being held at gunpoint left me craving kimchi fried rice and soju. ''
