I was running between the honking cars and trying to be as fast as possible. People were sitting in their vehicles, stretching their necks, looking out the window and trying to be as fast as possible. It was seven in the morning, everyone was on their way to work and they thought they got stuck because of one of the accidents that happened way too often on the street, but it was different. The line of cars was becoming longer and longer and they were starting to get impatient.

The ambulance's sirens were still blinking and reflecting in the thin layer of snow covering the streets and the police was yawning while inspecting the scene and writing their report. From far away it looked like an ordinary accident. One car stopped at a red light and the other hit him from behind. They were both quite destroyed so the other person had to be driving at a high speed and the victim was still inside his own vehicle. His forehead was resting on the loud honk and there was blood coming from the part where he hit it, but that wasn't all. He wasn't just unconscious from the impact, there was a large stab wound on his back and he was dead.

A woman who was just driving by at that time saw the accident and instantly called the police. Then she phoned another number, a line that was set up just to help my team solve the biggest case we have ever worked on. It was for people to report any possible sightings of the serial killer Kwan Taeshik and this woman was certain.

The person responsible for this accident and murder was him.

A police officer was standing by the opened door of the victim's car and talking with another person. It was a dark haired man in a suit and with a serious look on his face. His breath was foggy because of the cold, his cheeks were reddened and his eyes glossy when he heard me running closer and turned in my direction. The officer also stopped talking at the sight of me dramatically leaping over the police tape surrounding the area and reaching them.

'' Took you long enough. Did you stop for coffee on the way here or something? '' Baekhyun asked with boredom and frowned.

I was leaning with my hands against my knees and catching my breath. His words made me raise my head and glare at him. '' You were just outside of the police station when I called you and you couldn't wait for me to come down? Seriously? ''

Baekhyun shrugged and looked back at the police officer standing in front of us. I rolled my eyes, started fanning my sweaty and reddened face with my hands and looked around. The accident happened about half an hour ago, so we knew that Kwan Taeshik was probably long gone by now, but we were certain that this was still our chance to find him. His crimes were usually perfect and he never left any clues behind, but this time he left his car. The man he killed also had no connections to him, so we knew he must have done this impulsively, probably out of anger because of the accident.

I left Baekhyun, who was listening to the report of the police man that was the first on the scene and made my way to the others. I got a pair of gloves and a white surgical mask from them before going towards Kwan Taeshik's car. I didn't really want to look at the dead body, I knew it was going to be the same as the others anyway. I was much more interested in Taeshik's car. Knowing the way Baekhyun's Lamborghini looked after I spent some time driving around in it, gave me hope that his was going to be the same. I just hoped that there will be other things besides candy wrappers and hair pins that I left behind.

I opened the door of Kwan Taeshik's black car and carefully climbed inside. My eyes slowly scanned my surroundings and tried to spot anything meaningful. The first thing that I did was grab the jacket that was thrown on the passenger seat and search through the pockets, but they were empty. There were also some old newspaper under it, but I didn't think much of them since they were all just the most popular ones from the past few days. At first I thought that the backseat was empty, then I noticed the binoculars. I automatically cringed when I picked them up and imagined him using them to stalk his victims. I quickly put them down again and suddenly saw something interesting that was thrown in a small compartment on the car door that was on my side of the vehicle. It was a wallet.
