epilogue

It was an ordinary summer day in Seoul.

Except it wasn't, at least not for a certain crime scene investigation team.

A car was speeding down the road, followed by a yellow Lamborghini and another much older grey one. Drivers were honking and people were turning their heads at the sight. The older one was the first that managed to catch up and they rolled down their window and started screaming at the criminals that they were chasing to stop. The car that they were driving after hit a fruit stand on the sidewalk and the two men inside quickly ran down the street to get away.

The old grey one that was chasing it nearly hit the vehicle before stopping right behind it. Two individuals jumped out of it and sprinted after the two runaway criminals. Right after them a woman stepped out of the car, so beautiful that she made the people standing on the sidewalk gasp with surprise. 

Her name was Kim Hye-rin. Her long blonde hair floated in the wind and she carried a large black bag full of equipment in a nicely manicured hand. She took a few steps towards the car that hit the fruit stand and took her black sunglasses of her nose. The ones who were standing close sighed at the sight of her dreamy features, while she set her bag down and opened the trunk of the car to reveal a gruesome sight. She didn't even flinch at the sight of the blood and the dismembered dead body and only casually pulled out a megaphone and screamed in it: '' This vehicle is a crime scene, so I would appreciate if everyone would move back. I don't support you taking pictures, but if you feel the need to snap so that you could show your family and friends what crazy thing happened to you today, I would appreciate if you would do it from the right side. That's my good angle. This would be all. ''

She tossed the megaphone back in her bag of equipment, pulled out a pair of gloves, a surgical mask and prepared to get to work.

Right behind her, stumbling out of the car and trying not to throw up was another member of her team called Kim Jongdae. His face was green from the crazy driving and he was smiling at the bystanders who looked shocked by Hye-rin's screaming. '' She does not mean it like that. ''

He apologised at the owner of the fruit stand in the name of the two killers that got it destroyed and quickly ran after the other two members of his team that were already chasing them.

Just then a Lamborghini stopped right next to the scene, shocking the people even more. Another detective with a dark glare that could kill stepped out and ran after Jongdae and the other two that were chasing the killers. Right after him a woman who looked very annoyed jumped out of the car. Her hair was short and she was still screaming when she ran after the dark haired detective. That woman was me.

'' You nearly killed us, you idiot! ''

Byun Baekhyun glanced over his shoulder and seriously yelled in response: '' New rule is that you can't comment on my driving unless you get a license! ''

I glared at him before running left while he ran right. My eyes scanned the street before noticing some knocked down trash cans and a group of horrified looking people a bit further away. I sprinted in that direction and followed the rest of the similar trail that was left behind, turned another corner and was met by screaming and guns.

A tall guy with amazing eyebrows and sharp features was being held in a chokehold by one of the two killers. A knife was held to his neck and he was being threatened, but his face looked tired and he was complaining just like always. '' I'm just going to stay at the police station from now and pretend I don't hear when someone will tell me that we have to work in the field. This is seriously too much. Boss, what do I do? You aren't going to let this person scar my beautiful face, are you? ''

His name was Oh Sehun and the boss of the team, who went by Kim Minseok was the one in the alleyway who was screaming the loudest. '' Shut the fuck up and let me aim! Stay still or I will shoot you instead of him! ''
