Carrie laid in bed and rewatched the Super Bowl. Harrison hadn't come to bed yet. She didn't mind. In fact, the bedroom was full of her groans due to her cramps. It was a normal thing she experienced every so often. Today though, her cramps were the worst she'd ever experienced.

Her iPad rested against Gary's back as she laid on her side and watched her husband play. It was quite different to watch the game as a tv broadcast instead of standing on the sidelines like she had done all this season.

Being able to watch the game from above, made her realize how good he was. Harrison often told her about key plays he and the defense made during games. But most of the time, Carrie wasn't able to see how much of a leader he was.

She watched him switch around the defense just after Ben Roethlisberger changed the play at the line of scrimmage, sending the Steelers into chaos on third and long. He barged right through the offensive line and tackled their running back for no gain. Harrison was quickly up to acknowledge his defensive lineman who made the tackle possible.

That was another thing she learned about him on the field. He made great plays by himself all the time. But he was always quick to recognize his teammates that contributed to the play, and that most people might not notice.

Another video came up of his career highlights. She happily watched it and smiled to herself. He was so great at what he did.

Carrie was quickly interrupted by another wave of cramps. She rolled onto her back and pulled her legs to her chest, before extending them out again and hoping to work them out.

They just got worse.

She rolled back onto her side and stifled her cries of pain into his pillow. It wasn't like she could take more pain medication. Carrie took her pain meds only three hours ago. She couldn't take more until the following morning.

Squeezing a clump of sheets in her fist, she let out a muffled scream into the pillow as she felt her abdomen tighten again. Carrie cussed out Harrison in her head. Why did you have to get me pregnant?

Once the cramp subsided, she shook her head. Their daughter was going to be one of the best things that ever happened to her. Carrie couldn't wait to be a mother. It was going to hurt a hell of a lot for the next few months, but soon they would welcome a baby girl into their lives.

Another cramp hit her. This time, she didn't have enough time to cover her mouth with the pillow and cried out in pain very loudly.

Only a few moments later, Harrison came flying in. "Carrie, what's wrong!? Are you okay?"

Carrie laid on her side. He jumped up on their bed beside her. "What's wrong?"

"It's just cramps," she managed to say. "I'm fine."

"You don't sound like it."

She cried out once again. Harrison slowly got up and headed towards the bathroom. "Let me get you more medicine."

"You can't."

"What do you mean, 'you can't?'"

"I took some already. I can't take anymore until tomorrow morning."

He slowly made his way back to their bed and climbed under the covers beside her. "Will rubbing it help?"

Carrie shrugged. "I don't know."

Harrison positioned himself behind her and placed on arm under her pillow and the other on her belly. "Where does it hurt?"

She moved his hand under her growing baby bump. "Right here."

He rubbed the underside of her baby bump with the palm of his hand. "How's this feel?"

Carrie leaned back into him and relaxed. Harrison felt the tension ease from her body as he continued to massage her belly. "Is it helping?"

"Yeah," she answered with a yawn.

"I'm doing something right."

"You should do this more often."

His lips pressed against her neck softly. "I'll do it whenever you want."
