"There you go."

Harrison tightened his sling around his neck. "How do I look?"

Carrie straightened his shirt. He was wearing a colorful flannel shirt to go with a pair of dark blue jeans. "You look good."

She stood up on the tips of her toes to give him a kiss. Carrie hated how much taller he was. It made her have to beg for kisses. And Harrison did a great job of teasing her about it.

"Have fun tonight."

He kissed her forehead. "I will. This is going to be so much fun."

Harrison parked in the players parking lot at Bank of America Stadium and walked the two blocks through the city to the florist shop he occasionally visited.

He made his way to the front desk. "Harrison, what can I do for you today? Your usual for Carrie?"

He shook his head. "Not today. I need a full bouquet."

"What kind of flowers would you like?"

"Doesn't matter. Surprise me."

He patiently waited for George to bring him the bouquet. Once he came from in back, Harrison took a look at the light blue and pink flowers.

"Thanks."

"Who are these for, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Just a friend."

He walked for about 5 minutes before finding Rachel, the news anchor he was supposed to meet. "Ready Harrison?"

"Yes," he answered as the limo driver opened the door for him. "Thanks."

Rachel came around the other side and they were off. "Is she ready?"

"Yep. Her mom took her shopping for a dress this morning. She's going to be so surprised to see you."

He smiled. Make-A-Wish had reached out to him last week, asking if he would be willing to attend a 21st birthday party for a long time Leukemia patient, and avid Panthers fan, as her date. He immediately said yes.

"As we make our way over to meet her, would you mind answering a few questions?"

"Sure."

"What were you thinking coming into this? You were given no other information other than Make-A-Wish asking you to be her date."

"As soon as they asked, I was excited. If I can go down there and make her happy, she's going to make my night amazing in return. That's what I love about this. It's not a one way street. It goes both ways, and I truly love being able to make a day for someone."

They arrived at the hotel she was staying at only a few minutes later. Harrison and Rachel followed the director from Make-A-Wish, who she knew, up to her suite.

"I can't wait."

His excitement became very obvious as they made their way to her room. The director Brandon stopped just in front of suite number 59. "Give me two minutes."
