Harrison found Carrie in the new baby's room. It was late, and he was expecting her to already be in bed, but she was bent over the crib, working on something.

She had a thick piece of wood covering the top of the crib to use as a workspace. As Harrison approached, he saw her writing out the name Riley on the big white piece of paper. Then he noticed she had already done a few others for their name ideas.

"Carrie," he whispered.

She finished the 'L' and looked up at him. "What are you up to?"

"You know, once we have the baby, we were going to put her name above her crib?" He nodded. "Well, I was thinking instead of buying the letters, I could either paint something like this up on the wall, or maybe you could carve it out of wood."

"Let me see."

Carrie reached behind the crib and grabbed him three papers all with names carefully spelled out in her calligraphy. First, he saw Madison written out in all cursive, followed by Mackenzie.

"And here's the last one."

"These are amazing. How do you do it?"

She shrugged. "I've always been good at calligraphy."

"I'm not sure I'll be able to carve these. That's a lot of cursive."

"Then I can just paint it if we want to do that."

"I'm cool with it. First, we still have to decide what we want to name her. And knowing me and my decisions, that's going to be a last minute thing."

Carrie laughed. "You're not wrong."

Their daughter would probably be born before they settled on a name. They also did narrow their choices down from 10 to 4. It would be much easier to pick from 4 than 10. But the problem was, the two of them loved their final 4 names a lot.

Harrison reached behind him onto the dresser. He put an arm around his wife and placed a small pillow in her hands. "I had to get this."

Carrie immediately spun around to face him. "Are you serious?"

"Yes."

The pillow she held in her hand was shaped exactly like the Panthers logo. But instead of being black and blue like the logo, it was white with pink outlines.

"We can add this to the football."

Harrison lifted up the wood Carrie had been using for her workspace and set the Panthers pillow beside the football pillow he bought as well.

"You are something else."

"What? It's never to early to become a Panthers fan sweetheart."

He leaned down and slipped his right arm under her legs. Then he picked her up with one arm. Carrie leaned against his chest and put an arm around his neck. "I'm tired."

As he carried her down the hallway towards their room, she asked, "how'd tonight go?"

"I had so much fun. You should've seen her face when she saw me."

"I saw on the news. It was adorable."

"I love being able to do that for someone."

A cop literally followed me the entire way home from dinner and it was really intimidating. I got a little sweat going.
