Castiel woke up spooning Dean and he tried to not move because he didn't want to disrupt Deans sleep. Cas watched as Dean smiled in his sleep. He was probably dreaming of their soon to be daughter. They were gonna spoil that child. Speaking of, him and Dean should probably go shopping later and change the office that Cas never used, into a 7 year olds dream room. Cas figured he would paint it light purple and add butterfly stickers. Maybe some posters of princesses or something. Cas wanted that child to be happy. She was in foster care for a reason and Cas wanted to reverse whatever had been done to her. Cas decided he'd buy a closet full of clothes and all the toys she could ask for. They would have to also go furniture shopping since a desk didn't exactly work that well as a children's bed. Castiel shifted onto his stomach and accidentally woke Dean.
"I was having the best dream why'd you have to do that?" Dean whined.
"Why did I have to shift myself the tiniest bit? Because I just wanted to annoy you Dean." Castiel spoke sarcastically.
"Oh shut up."
"Make me."
Dean didn't have to tell Cas twice. In no time, Cas was on top of Dean, kissing him without any care of morning breath. Dean gave into Castiels desires and kissed back. Their tongues fought for dominance between their mouths.
"Babe we gotta shop for Danneel. I don't have time to do this right now." Cas complained.
"Ugh fine." Dean grumbled and got up to get dressed.
Dean hopped into the driving seat of the impala and screeched the tired out of the driveway. Dean was a bit nervous to be adopting a kid since he was only 20 but he knew Cas was rich and the little girl would be extremely well off. Dean was so glad he was starting his life so early. He pulled into a Walmart parking lot and grabbed a cart. He saw Castiel grab a cart as well. He then realized they'd probably be spending at least a thousand dollars. Dean led Cas to the wall decor area and they grabbed a bunch of cute girly wall decals. Dean threw them into his cart. They then picked out the paint colors since it was right there. They grabbed a bedspread with a purple design on it, it came with a matching comforter, sheets, and pillow covers. Dean thought it was too girly and he wanted Danneel to be a tomboy but he knew by her cutesy curls, she'd be a girly girl. Dean picked out a few decorations for her room, including an analog clock that matched the bedspread. Deans cart was about halfway full and he realized that this was not gonna all fit into his tiny trunk. Like yes the trunk could fit a body or two but with all the stuff they needed, they needed to have a truck.
"Hey Cas, I know I said I hated your truck but I think we need it." Dean said nonchalantly.
"Yeah I was thinking so too. Be right back." Castiel said, disappearing in a flap of wings.
Castiel flew home and grabbed his truck, driving it to the Walmart Dean was at. He parked next to the impala and flew inside back to Dean. Castiel walked over to the clothes area. He remembered that Danneel was pretty small so small or mediums would probably fit her. Castiel picked out a bunch of cute shirts and leggings. He grabbed a bunch of PJs as well. He grabbed a footie pajama thing as well because who doesn't like footie pajamas? Castiel threw all the clothes in the cart, searching for dresses next. He found a cute teal frilly dress and grabbed it immediately. He didn't even know this child yet but he knew that this dress was so her. Castiel saw a radio and ran and grabbed it. Radios were a rare thing in this day and age but it was something he thought everyone needed. He put the radio in his cart and grabbed a few CDs for Danneel. Metallica, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Billy Squier, and shinedown. Castiel wasn't into most of those but Dean was so Danneel needed to know the classics. Castiel grabbed shinedown because that's what he liked. He then grabbed some books because growing girls needed to read. Plus the books were right there so why not grab 10. Castiel didn't know if the books he grabbed were too hard for a 7 year old but if they were she could read them later in life. He then grabbed a few movies since there were already a DVD player and tv in that room.
"Babe don't you think giving a 7 year old a tv is a bit much?" Dean asked.
"No I had a tv when I was 7." Cas replied.
"Yeah but that's different you lived alone when your vessel was 7."
"Oh hush she'll be fine. No tv after 8 pm."
"Alright."
Dean led Cas with his growing pile of girl stuff in his cart. Dean also had an almost full cart but they still needed toys. Toys were a big thing. Dean was gonna go crazy. Dean grabbed almost everything he saw. Mainly legos since Dean had loved legos. He also grabbed a couple barbies and a mylife doll and some clothes for her, along with a pet for her. And a damn horse and car and wheelchair. Because why not. Dean grabbed a lot of puzzles and board games for them to play as a family. He also grabbed a few stuffed animals. And by a few, he meant about 20. He grabbed a life size teddy for her to use as a pillow. Dean grabbed an entire box of those mystery boxes of shopkins for her. An entire box. So like 25 separate sets of them. Dean was going crazy with buying things for her. He also grabbed a lot of crafts. He never wanted her to be bored.
"Dean hun I think you have enough toys." Castiel laughed as he spoke.
"Yeah. I can't think of anything else. Plus we still have to go to ikea." Dean said.
"Yeah she needs a bed frame and bedside table. And dresser. Omg Dean we still need panties why did we forget that?"
"Okay panties then home to drop off all this shit."
"Yes then ikea."
Castiel checked out his and Deans items and put all the boxed things in his truck bed. He had Dean put the clothes in his trunk since he didn't want the clothes to get dirty. Cas drove his truck home and brought all the stuff into his office. They'd take it out of the bags and arrange it later. Right now they had more shopping to do. Castiel had Dean come with in his truck since Deans trunk wouldn't fit anything they needed from ikea. Castiel always got lost in ikea so he grabbed a map as he entered the store. He headed to the lamps and found a nice moon shaped lamp that glowed green when turned on. The moon was surrounded by stars that were being held up by movable black metal sticks. The moon was also held up like that. It turned on and off by a switch so Castiel grabbed that. He also spotted a lava lamp and immediately grabbed one. Next he needed a bed frame so they headed in that direction but stopped at the dressers since they also needed one of those. Castiel picked out a sleek black modern dresser and they were on their way. Castiel found a bed frame that matched the dresser they chose. The bed frame had a shelf above the head and a slab of wood at the foot of the bed so her feet wouldn't fall out. Cas figured he'd put her books in that shelf. Castiel picked up a few random interior design items on their way to the checkouts and took their very full cart to the car.
"So are we done for the day?" Castiel asked.
"Shopping yes. We still need to put all of this together and arrange all her things in her room." Dean told him.
"Ugh I forgot about that."
"Yeah babe I'm sorry furniture can't build itself."
Dean helped Cas carry in the boxes and was amazed as Cas snapped his fingers, making everything build itself immediately. The dresser was in the corner, perfectly put together. The bed frame was against one wall and it was very beautiful. Dean knew Danneel would love it. Dean watched as Cas snapped his fingers again and all of a sudden everything was out of the bags and the books were in the bed shelf, the toys were arranged in a corner, everything was neatly stacked and aesthetically put together. Dean was absolutely flabbergasted.
"Okay can I sleep now?" Castiel complained.
"I-I guess Cas." Dean stuttered.
Castiel slowly meandered up to his room and fell asleep before he had time to take off his clothes. Cas felt Dean take off his clothes for him but he didn't mind.
Dean took Cassys clothes off and stripped down himself. Dean grabbed a book and hopped in bed with Cas. He started to read the first sentence but fell asleep before he reached the period. Dean dreamt of his daughters reaction to her new room. He was so excited.(A/N)
