You didn't save my number? I am Karan .

Okhay. I seriously can't believe that he texted me himself. I pinched my self  and immediately saved his number.

Yes Karan . Sorry didn't recognize you. So???

So nothing. Can't I just text my new friend?

Um- okhay

You are so cute . Listen I wanted to talk to you in person so would you like to come and have dinner with me tonight?

I don't know Karan. Is it really important?

Yes Mia. No force only if you like but I really hope you will say yes.

Of course I wanted to say yes but I don't know something didn't feel right.Maybe because I never had a close encounter with a guy before but I had nothing to loose right ? So I shook off my gut feelings

Okhay Karan . I will come .

Awesome. Then I'll come and pick you up at 7pm and wear something fancy . Consider it a date *wink*

Okhay so two things. Did he just wink at me and I was going on a date with the Karan Raichand. I can't even believe how fast all this happened . I literally met him two nights ago . Was zee right??? I decided not to overthink anything and just go with the flow.

He picked me up exactly at 7 in his BMW  and took me too a well known famous zigi's steakhouse. That restaurant requires a early booking for over a week and I had no idea how he managed that but again his name helped . Zigi's steakhouse is a really posh restaurant with people flaunting their money like water . Men in sleek suits and ladies in their designer's signature dresses . I belong from the upper class family but this kind of atmosphere affects me a lot . Everyone with their plastic smiles on point and with no real emotion on face that made me uncomfortable. Karan seemed to notice that .

"Are you okay Mia?" He asked with visible concern in his eyes .

"Yeah yeah I am good " I tried to smile but it seemed like a grimace.

"Mia you don't need to lie.  Don't you like this place?" He took my hands in his that was on the table .

"This place is gorgeous .Um actually these people kind of make me uncomfortable so ... nothing . It's all right" I assured him .

He got up suddenly and gently pulled me up "Mia , I want you to be comfortable. Don't hide it come we will go somewhere else" .

"But hey! This is all right . I don't mind " I tried to stop him . I knew he liked this place.

"But baby I don't like it anymore. So I am going" to my utter shock he actually started to walk out so I also followed him out. At that moment he made me feel really special and that gesture pleased me a lot .

So now we were again in the BMW without any destination in mind just wandering around the busy city "Hey Karan ,where are we going?"

"I don't know , you tell me" he gave me a small smile .

"Can we just go and eat some pizza?"

"Sure"

Thus we ended up in a local Italian restaurant that was a most wannabe students hangout joint . We completely stood out in  our fancy wears laughing like kids on a sugar rush. To be very honest we talked a lot about stuff . It was a light conversation nothing serious and I had completely forgotten that he wanted to tell me something serious . So it took me by surprise when he came to drop me and said ," Mia, I know we don't know each other for long . But it's also true that I like you and if you allow me I'd like to know more about you . "

I didn't know what to say I never thought he would ask something and so fast but then I remembered this evening how he left that posh restaurant and how he was so very attentive so I decided to give it a shot . I had nothing to loose right .

"Okhay" I smiled and he leaned towards me and peck me on my cheek . My heart was beating so fast and maybe I guess I was a bit disappointed, maybe I was expecting my first kiss .

"Goodnight sweetheart . See you " I went inside my house and he sped off and the whole night I couldn't sleep and I was smiling like a loon . So finally when I closed my eyes it was 5am .
