chapter 31

Karan's POV

"Congratulations, Mr. Raichand. So like we decided we will meet next time in Greece for the signing".

"Indeed. Mr. Anders . Congratulations to you too."

Anders Corp. They are very big name is the business right now. Their share values are going higher every time .and they managed to stay on top constantly for some times now.
I was working for months on this proposal for this collaboration, and finally this happened. I was really looking forward for both the companies to come together.

Anders Corp. has their head office  in Greece. Mr.Anders wanted the paper singing to be there . I was pretty reluctant at first, how could I leave my pregnant wife alone.

But then I had a nice and long chat with her doctor. She assured me Mia had no complications in her pregnancy and now she could fly.

Only then I agreed, it would even be a good opportunity for us . I thought this will be a good vacation as well.

I never took her to honeymoon so, this can serve as a very good opportunity.

Mia was sleeping peacefully when I reached home. Long lashes fanned her rosey cheeks .Her  pregnant bump was clearly visible now . Her hands were resting on her protruding belly as if giving our child all the protection. I placed my hand on her belly, I couldn't feel anything yet ,but the things I felt everything - they were beyond anything else.
I wonder if my father ever felt that way about me . But I hoped to be a much much better father to my baby .

I kissed her belly first and then I placed a few long kisses on her forehead. She stirred a bit but didn't wake up.
Good , she'll need all the energy for later .

Meera aunty was sitting in the backyard with her evening tea. I gave her important details regarding our trip and asked her to pack Mia's bags without waking her up.

We were flying in company's private jet in the night. The decision was really sudden. Because I thought I will convince for the singing to be here . Anyways , this would be our first trip together anywhere and I was planning on making the most of it.

Mia woke up after a few hours. She seemed happy . I thought to play with her for sometime.

"Wifey , guess what is happening tonight?" I was sitting beside her head , she was still laying down.

"What"? Her voice always sounds super sexy after waking up.

"I am going somewhere. For a few days. You have to stay with all the servents . "

She sat up in a heartbeat , her eyes were not so unfocused anymore. She looked angry .

Uh-oh looks like I just poked the sleeping tigress.

"WHAT! You will leave me here alone! Then you will never come back . Do I look that bad already? You don't love me anymore". At the end her voice cracked. She started crying softly," I know you don't. Fine just divorce me."

What just happened.

"Mia, it's nothing like that. God you are so stupid. I was just messing around. Why would I divorce you? And how many times will I tell you I adore you , how can I not? You are carrying my child in there. Hm" using my forefinger I lifted her face to take a good look at those beautiful eyes - that I love so much.

She smiled. Thank God.

"You called me stupid. How dare you " . She picked up the pillow and started hitting me . Not that ,they actually hurt . But who wants to get hitted ?

"Really Mia? You only heard that one word . I am sorry okay, I wasn't thinking. Stop hitting me" I tried to dodge her hits but man she was relentless. Finally I snatched that pillow away and took a hold of her arms . She couldn't move much in my tight hold and pouted sadly.

Cute .

"Didn't you hear that I love you?" She wasn't replying, I nudges her a little she hmmmed .

"What was that darling?" I was smirking, I knew she hated it.

"I love you too". She mumbled .

"I love you more". I left her arms and pulled her in a tight embrace . This is my solace after a long tiring day, having my family in my arms .

"But you are still going somewhere". She mumbled in my chest .

Stupid woman.

"Uh no . Actually we are both going. Tonight. In Raichand's private jet . And love before you say anything, I talked to your doctor. She said it's okay. "
Suddenly she pushed me away .

"Tonight? Where are we going? I have to pack clothes. You are so stupid Karan . Couldn't you tell me earlier?"

Now I am stupid? How?

"Wait a second Mia. You don't have to pack anything. I asked Meera aunty and she packed your clothes and mine while you were sleeping madam . So now explain this thing how am I stupid?"

Her face flushed . But she was a pro by now . "You just are . Okay . You said you are leaving me alone. Not that I believed you or anything". 

Oh really?

"But you totally did Mia! " She was about to say something but I cut in .

"You will leave me here alone! Then you will never come back . Do I look that bad already? You don't love me anymore" I said that in a feminine voice, trying to emitate her , maybe that wasn't such a good idea since she looked furious.

"Karan Raichand, you are so stupid. I hate you ". She picked up the pillow again. But I was smarter and faster . I rushed to the washroom and closed the door and after a sec later that pillow landed on the closed door.

It was night time already when we boarded the plane . It took another half an hour for my air team to make sure everything was fine and we were good to go.

"Have a good journey sir , my name is Ahana and I will take care of your needs for the journey. I will come back with some food soon after we take off" . The airhostress
Went away giving me a sweet smile, too sweet for my liking.

She went ahead and kept introducing herself to our fellow passengers . Well what can I say, we had past but that's it . I didn't have in any interest in other women beside my own .

Mia was too quite . I turned to take a look at her ,she was busy glaring at the airhostress.
"Hey . Earth to wifey". I snapped my fingers to grab her attention and finally she looked at me ,"I don't like her . She keeps looking at you like that . "

Okay then .

"Hey listen , Don't be jealous. I have my eyes for you only. " She pouted , I wanted to kiss her so bad , maybe I will do .

"But she's so pretty."

Not again.

"Yeah , but you are really beautiful. I don't want her ." With that I pulled her in my arms , hoping she'll let that go. I seriously didn't want Mia to talk to that airhostress.

We were total 10 people in the jet excluding the flying crew . My assistant and my most trusted advocate Khanna was flying with us , with his assistants . Even my security team had already arranged for our security in Greece but 3of them were flying with me .

Mia didn't Know where we were going , I wanted to keep it a surprise.

"This is captain Fredy , the sky looks clear. No traces of clouds . Looks like a smooth ride ahead. Enjoy the journey."
