Karan's POV

...."The famous business tycoon Karan Raichand has married his sweetheart Mia Jaiswal in Greece away from public eyes , well we wish them best of years ahead .

By the time we reached the Mumbai airport, our marriage news had gone viral, like the way I wanted . Now the entire world knew Mia was taken and I felt like the luckiest guy walking beside her, holding her hand protecting her from the millions of flashes .

"Sir, is this your child ?"

"Ma'am how far along are you?"

It was getting harder for my security to get the situation under control. Mia was visibly shaken. Blind rage filled my senses , how could they assume that her child was not mine ? I took deep breaths and when I finally felt like I was in control I faced the reporter , who looked like he had just hit a jackpot,since I decided to answer him ," The formal statement will be released from the Raichand corp. tomorrow. But for now I want to clarify one thing ," Mia was looking really tired , she was half leaning on me . I took her hand in mine and placed another hand on her bump ." This child is mine, I am the father . Don't ever ask such questions unless you want to face consequences. " We turned around away from the probing eyes .

The security had the situation under control and finally we were safety escorted out of that nuisance.

"Mia, don't feel bad" . I was trying to comfort her for the hundredth time now , but she was in no way ready to listen to me .

"What Karan , everyone will know now, I was pregnant before marriage. People will always question the father." I could only fist my hands tightly to stop them from hitting something hard. This is what I had wanted . Once . A bad taste of disgust filled my senses, and I didn't have anyone but me to blame.

"So what Mia? I am here with you . And I am the father ! Does it really matter what the media will say? You know it's their job to create and spread gossips". I took her hands and started rubbing them slowly, this thing always worked to calm her down. Eventually. She did calm down a little.
