chapter 13

Mia POV

I woke up and rushed to the washroom and puked up whatever I ate last night, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I rinsed my mouth with my mint mouth freshener. My morning sickness was not as bad as I thought it would be . Sure I did throw up but that's nothing I couldn't handle for my baby . 

I came downstairs and Mira maa was cooking breakfast once again.

"Good morning beta. I must say you are looking radiant this morning!so how's your night ?" She enquired softly while serving me my breakfast.

"It was good Maa. Karan was so thoughtful. "

"Hmmph beta. You take care with him all right sweet!" She let out a small sigh . That's weird.

"Yes Maa. Is he  gone today as well?"

She just nodded in reply. She mumbled something about he not having proper breakfast.

"Maa do you think, I should bring him lunch?? Will he appreciate?"

She gave me a warm smile." Sure kid . I will get his food ready. You just take rest and ready. "

True to her words , maa woke me up around 11 am and she made some delicious food. Yummy.

"Mia! Okhay here is your food and the car is already waiting for you . Go "

She helped me in a red saree with a backless blouse . I wore a pair of sparkling dangling earrings and a simple waist chain . My belly was still flat so that chain made the attire look alluring. My look was completed with some kohl and lip balm .

I  reached the blue sky-high glass building , RAICHAND'S CORP. , Standing proudly in the middle of the corporate road . I felt extremely proud when I entered that building. That building belonged to my husband. My Karan .

The interior of the building was ten times more gorgeous than the exterior. I instantly fell in love with the miniature fountain they had in the middle of the lounge . And those 4sofas surrounding that fountain in a circular setup . And the small chandelier that was hanging exactly on the top of the fountain and the reflection of it in the water of the fountain.  Just wow .

"How can I help you ma'am?" The receiptionist asked .

"Hey , I am here to meet Mr.karan Raichand."

"Sure ma'am . Do you have an appointment?"

What appointment? But , oh yeah ! Our marriage was a private event . So they don't know about me .

"No, but can you call him and say Mia's here?"

"Okhay. Wait a second".

Within some minutes she talked in the phone and got me a visitor pass and directed me towards Karan's cabin .

His assistant received me in the top floor and led me to his room .

I was about to walk in but he knocked and gently hold the door open for me . I walked in after giving him a small smile.

"Hey Mia! How come you are here love?" He said still looking at his laptop but then he looked up at me .

KARAN'S POV

There's nothing different about today's morning. Same office,same everything . I was neck deep buried in my work and I was feeling hungry as well.

Just then my intercom beeped . I couldn't believe what I heard ! Mia's here . But why ?

I was still working trying to fake boredom when I was really anxious about her arrival.

"Hey Mia! How come you are here love?" I said still looking at my laptop but then I looked up and found those beautiful orbs staring back at me again with a smile . Then my eyes shifted towards her pink plum like lips , they were looking so inviting yet so forbidding. I had to restrain my self from pulling her closer and wrap my arms around her soft curvy shape. She's looking beautiful in that red saree but then my eyes settled on her gold waist chain .that was making her waist so alluring, at that moment I was jealous of those piece of metal it was as if teasing me -that it could touch her , mold itself around her slender waist yet I couldn't touch her . Actually I wouldn't.

I was shook out of my fantasy at the sound of throat clearing.

I looked up at her , her cheeks were matching the colour of her saree. Fuck ! I was turned on . How could I react like a teenager . I had been with so many girls in the past and they had tried so hard but this girl right here . She didn't even do anything. Her mere presence was enough to turn me on. Control.

" Blushing now? Are you?" I couldn't help but tease her.

"N-no" . Her voice came out shaky. She's blushing obviously. But she'll deny .

"Okhay. Then Mrs. Can I ask you what are you doing here?" She was still standing. So I walked around my table and towards her. She's still blushing maybe because I called her Mrs. Using the opportunity I caged her between my body and the desk . I nudged my nose in the crook of her nape inhaling her floral scent . I couldn't help myself around her . So I diverted the topic when I watched the food in her hand . Yummy .

" Oh cool do you have some plates in that basket?" I asked her while taking her hand and walking her towards the sofa that was in the corner of my cabin looking at the beautiful view of high-rises through my glass walls .

"Yes"

She took out two plates while I came back washing my hand .

She served me one generous amount of piping hot pasta and it tasted amazing . But last night's food was something else. That was a different story all together.

After eating she gathered all the plates and the container again in her basket and she stood up ready to leave.

But I didn't wanna let her go .
But then I cannot afford any attachments with her. 

I gave her the required medicines . That she so wanted to skip because those tasted bad , her words . So after making some faces she took them and she stood up to leave .

She left me to my devices and walked out of my cabin but honestly I wanted her to say even for a little longer.

I logged in my laptop but then I watched at my coffee table and saw she left her phone there . I immediately left the room looking for her . But I didn't had to go far . She's waiting for my elevator and Rishi,my manager he was standing beside her. They were talking but what bothered me was those sneaky glances he was passing at her .

I felt an strong urge to protect her , to protect her from everything evil and bad . I marched towards them and wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her close. Clearly marking my boundary and sending off-limits warnings to all those wandering eyes. Rishi immediately fled away . She's blushing as I was holding her very close.

The elevator was almost there but I couldn't help myself when I saw her biting her bottom lip in anticipation, I cupped her face with my free hand and pecked her lips . Then I licked her lips teasingly and she granted me entrance , I thrushed my tongue inside and massaged her tongue vigorously. I kissed her with all my passion, all my sexual frustration ,all the attraction I felt towards her. What took me by surprise was her response. She kissed me back with the same Passion.

That stopped me , for her it was pure love . But for me it was just business. Right?

I escorted her safely out of the building and then she sat in the car . And they drove off.
