chapter 24

Happy New year to everyone. I love you guys have a great year ahead, try to achieve whatever you really want, be happy.

Karan's pov

Whoever said God resides in children, they were wrong very wrong. This kids nothing but devils in disguise. All I wanted was some alone time with my wife and also to finish some of the pending works, the fate decided otherwise.

I thought I was going fine when I left Ryan in the bathroom, he seemed to be enjoying the water , but apparently I was wrong .

So now I was trying to deal with them with a different tactics. I still won't mind leaving them in the bathroom again but Mia would not like that .

Currently they were trying to play something in my iPad but then obviously that wasn't enough for those little raskels . They found my laptop and liked it too much for my liking . But thankfully Mia managed to take my work laptop away .

They were running everywhere and they only liked my wife . They hated me , it was obvious. They were tiring her out . So I had to take charge and that's how I ended up becoming their horse . They won't let me stop , if I did then they will throw their legs hitting my sides as if I was some real horse.

After some times I was ready to tie them up and place them in a corner but obviously that didn't happen. Mia was too smitten even to scold them .

Feeding them was another stressful affair, with them throwing food in every direction. We didn't had our meal properly trying to care for them .

I really hope my own child won't be like them . I wanted a sweet little princess exactly like my sweet wife . Always happy and smiling and never bothering other people. I really hope so otherwise I didn't know what I would do , it was suffice to say I was afraid of those twin trouble.

"Ry, A who wants a bath ?" Mia suggested , distracting them from their fights so that she could feed them .

"Me, me ,mmmee" they both yelled in unison . They were really synchronised with each other ,I observed, maybe that's a twin thing.

After that they both ate their food without any more fuss and pulled me with them . I was not even halfway done with my food.

Reluctantly I picked them up and carried them to the bathroom in our room.
Mia prepared the water for them and they jumped in the bathtub . Playing with eachother and splashing water everywhere. Mia was also playing with them but she was sitting on the counter . I tried to grab each of them and tried to wash them .

After almost half an hour they both stepped out of the tub wrapped in towels , but I was completely drenched and Mia didn't look any better.

She looked at me and started laughing at my poor sight . Cursing my luck I drained the water and went in my closet to change .

I changed and came back in the bedroom to find an extremely good picture. Twins were jumping on our bed without a care in the world and Mia was laughing her heart out . She was looking so beautiful and so carefree , I wished for that radience to stay forever in her face . Her eyes were closed and her mouth was open , she was holding her stomach from laughing so much . I didn't wanna interrupt that yet.

Maybe having a naughty kid won't be that bad afterall, if at the end of the day I could come home to this picture. Not that I was saying I wanted that extra nuisance that would come along , maybe , but maybe that's  worth it.

Mia noticed me standing by the door leaning on it and observing her . My ears turned not at the embarrassment of getting caught .
Damn it . Was I blushing?

I made my way to her smiling face and pulled her closer . Something was definitely different about her these days . I couldn't keep my hands off her whenever she's around now a days.  I wanted a constant skin touch , doesn't matter however small that was.

" Okhay you two , time to go to bed . " I tried to take them down from the bed but they successfully dodged me and wrapped their arms around Mia'S neck . Even they didn't want to leave her.

"Sleepy sleepy here . " The more calm one demanded,pouting his lips . Damn you , kid . Why couldn't they just leave me with my wife . ALONE. So that we could finally sleep and forget about them .

"Yes, please we are good boys please " . The other naughty one supported his brother , he even went as far as making his eyes welled up with tears .

"That's enough boys . Time to go to bed " I tried to separate them but they wouldn't budge at all.

Finally Mia agreed with them . Exactly that's what I didn't want.  "Yes babies we all will sleep together. Here . " They started jumping in some great victory. I was frowning at them . Bloody kids .

So sleeping arrangements were like this . Those two will sleep in the middle and we will sleep in the sides , making sure they won't fall down while sleeping. I didn't like it at all . I wanted to hold my wife in my arms after a very tiring day , not having a brat thrown his almost entire body on me .   I couldn't wait for them to go home .

After some times they seemed asleep only then I noticed he didn't exactly had his small body thrown over mine but he was hugging me tightly. Another one had his face hidden in Mia's chest , she was combing her fingers through his hair . He was sound asleep as well. I smiled looking at Mia , she had a forlone look in her eyes , maybe she was also thinking about our unborn child and what the future will hold for us.
