cuddle buddy, a sequel

as the week went on, everyone else started showing up. jisung and chenle first, followed by renjun and jeno. even their friend who they haven't seen since they were kids, doyoung, showed up.

"this is so strange, all of us catching up after who knows how long," chenle stated, taking a big spoonful of the ice cream sicheng and kun brought. everyone nodded their heads; they've missed doing this. but everyone has to move on.

mark and donghyuck were sharing a chair; donghyuck sitting comfortably on top of mark while mark held his waist almost protectively.

"i'm amazed on how far we've come," jaehyun said, resting his head on taeyong's shoulder. taeyong sighed, petting jaehyun's hair softly.

"so am i," chenle agreed, hand resting comfortably on jisung's own hand. jisung and chenle just recently got together; they are the most recent of couples.

"i'm proud of all of us," jisung said proudly, earning a proud smile from literally everyone in the room. everyone still treats jisung like a baby, and jisung doesn't mind at all. he loves the fact that they care about him.

and waffle was the star of the show at  mark and donghyuck's place. well, mainly the star to taeyong. and whenever jaehyun would play with waffle, there was one thing taeyong would say.

"it's a puppy with a puppy," and everyone would either laugh or coo because everyone loved jaehyun and taeyong together. they worked so well together.

"i'm glad of us, you and i," mark mumbled to donghyuck when they got the chance to be by themselves. they just stood in each other's embrace, enjoying each other's company.

"i love you," donghyuck sighed, pulling mark closer, feeling the elder's body flush against his own. it made donghyuck feel safe, in mark's embrace. he always felt safe whenever mark was around.

"i love you, too," mark sighed, arms tightening slightly on donghyuck's waist. mark felt so content, he never wanted to leave donghyuck's embrace; the younger was so warm.

"you're so amazing, mark lee," donghyuck mumbled before he leaned in to plant a delicate kiss on mark's lips; his heart still races to this day, and he believes it will always race whenever it came to mark.
